Now Rohan Mehra’s first show is Sasural Simar Ka after Bigg Boss 10’s exit!

TV actor Rohan Mehra, who was last seen in Bigg Boss, is back to fiction and this around its as Sameer in Saasural Simar Ka.

A close source reveals, “The show will be changing gears as now the new focus will be on the younger generation. Rohan, will be seen playing the male protagonist Sameer, who is an NRI from London and will be seen in a love triangle between Simar’s daughters Anjali and Sanjana.  The makers have decided to introduce the new generation track to bring a fresh change to this long running show.”  When we communicated Rohan, he confirmed and told, “Yes I am going to be a part of Saasural Simar Ka.  After Yeh Rishta and Bigg Boss I wanted to do something different and when Sasural Simar Ka was offered to me, I felt that it’s a good role and different from the roles I have played earlier.”

The Former Naksh of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai seems to have upped the game of fitness game. The actor seems to be in a mood to shed his chocolate boy image and has been working out real hard. His Instagram posts prove how hard the actor is working out and an avid gym-hitter. With an already fit & slender physique, the Punjabi boy who is presently sporting a beard & the girls can't stop crushing over his new look has taken his diet rather seriously & given up on salt & sugar completely under the guidance of a celebrity fitness trainer. Seemingly the actor’s personal trainer shares that Rohan’s given up on Salt & Sugar & is following a strenuous workout regimen. Balika Vadhu actress Avika Gor’s transformation in a lovely damsel!

The lengthiest running show Balika Vadhu finally went off air after a successful run of more than 8 long years last year. The show's iconic character of Anandi whose young days were essayed by Avika Gor made the actress a famous household name in no time. Avika was adored and appreciated by admirers for her innocence and terrific acting skills on the show. The actress who had to quit the show post the leap, was then seen in Sasural Simar Ka playing the role of Roli aka the protagonist Simar aka Dipika Kakar's sister.

The actress who still dwells in our mind as the little innocent Anandi has now grown up into being a lovely damsel. And why do we say that?! So, lately Avika posted a beautiful click of herself on Instagram. She is definitely unrecognisable for all those who have particularly been her fans during her Balika Vadhu days. The picture is snapped by her rumoured beau Manish Raisinghan. The actress looks stunning the click.

Avika, last year left Sasural Simar Ka as well after her character was literally going nowhere in the show and failed to be shaped up well in the latter phase of the show. It was last year itself when Avika along with Manish made it to the prestigious Cannes film festival egere they unveiled the poster of their short movie. Titled as Ankahee Baatein, the short film starred Manish Raisinghani and Barkha Bisht while Avika Gor was the Creative Director of the film is Directed by Manav Bhinder. Avika and Manish couldn't stop beaming with joy as they launched the poster of their short movie.

Manish told, "Our Short movie has officially been selected at Cannes short film corner and now another super exciting part comes in. I am happy and glad to have our other two short film posters being launched here in Cannes out of which one is directed by my very dear friend n a super talented director Vidhi Ghodgaonkar and the other one is directed edited and produced by Avika and me... we are also the cinematographers of the movie... both these movies are super special for Avika, Vidhi and me for two major reasons.. one coz it’s happening in Cannes second because the super special people who are launching this Poster for us Mr Mohan Kumar and Mr. Lavanya Kumar and are adding value to all the hard work we put in to our films which we started as just a passion to make pure fans happy n now it has reached world level n their posters are being launched here at Cannes". Avika too who was on the ninth cloud, said, "I am very happy that my movie poster was launched at Cannes by Hon’ble  Ambassador of India to France Dr. Mohan Kumar and Lavanya Kumar First Secretary Cultural, Paris. It's great to have a huge platform where people recognize your work. 'Almost' has been very close to my heart as it is a film by 'AVIMAN'; Our fans gave me and Manish this name .. as we joke around calling ourselves the Abbas and Mastan as we have the same initials, Avika and Manish. I believe Aviman  can create magic together.. and we will and this is just the beginning."

Vaishali Takkar is slapped in the real for the reel!

Just not in reel, but real life slap dramas have been making headlines every now and then.

For the reel purpose, there was a real slap to hurt the lead actress Vaishali Thakkar on the sets of the Sasural Simar Ka.

Lately, actress Vaishali Thakkar found herself at the receiving end - a tight whack across her face - by none other than her costar Siddharth Shivpuri aka Vikram on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka. As per to a news portal, Vaishali aka Anjali and her costar Vikram had an intense scene to perform where they were required to fight resulting in Anjali being slapped. Regrettably, the intensity of the slap was tremendously hard that resulted in hurting the lady. But without creating a uproar, seemingly, Vaishali like a thorough professional, went on with the flow and carried forward with her scene.

Though accidental, it certainly must have been a little awkward!

I will never be able to kiss or get intimate on screen for sure, admits Dipika Kakar aka Simar!

TV actress Dipika Kakar is one of the cutest ladies in Indian TV Industry. The actress, who is all set to quit her supernatural-fictional show Sasural Simar Ka, tells that she now wants to sit back and relax for some time.

While speaking about her further projects, Dipika told, "I have never been very choosy about work. It's just that I would want a certain comfort level. For the person I am, I will never be comfortable in doing a scene that is bold. I will never be able to kiss or get intimate on screen for sure. I am not very comfortable. I am very firm on this fact."

Moving on to her love life, the actress considers her beau Shoaib as her firm pillar of strength. While speaking about him, she told, "We don't interfere in each other's work. We keep it simple. He is my back up support whenever I crash down." 

Dipika further told, "He always told me that there will be positive and negative to everything. He is very simple. He is not at all a complicated person. If there is anything you should know, he will just tell you on your face and he keeps it simple. It makes life so convenient and easy. Shoaib has always clarified and counselled me whenever required. And rest, he has the duty of reducing my stress, take me for drives and dinners, so that I was all pepped up for the next day," she shared, laughingly.  So when is wedding on cards?! "Yes, I am actually waiting for that. I am ready, just waiting for him. We are hoping that if things work out the way they have been planned, then by the end of this year probably in December, we will surely tie the knot," she finished conversation.

Salman’s Bigg Boss 10 looses its place from top 20 list as per TRP rankings, Naagin 2 tops again!

TV reality show Bigg Boss10 again has not been made place in the Top 10, while Naagin 2 has topped again on TRP charts! Television shows have been making viewers stay glued to it and makers are trying their level best in bringing out various twists and turns to keep the audiences glued.

In 2016, a lot of new shows have immediately made a place in the hearts of people. Naagin 2 seems to refuse to let go of its top position while the rest seem to be switching positions. Seeing the 45th week on TV, yet again Naagin 2 bags the top slot while Udaan and Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki makes it to the consecutive slots.
