Priya Banerjee talks about her web series with Karan Wahi!

The gorgeous Priya Banerjee has been quite hectic these past few months shooting and promoting her newest projects. We caught up with the actress for a quick chat between her dubbings for forthcoming web series opposite actor Karan Wahi. The show which touches upon the topic of foot fetish has already been a hit across social media. Banerjee also spoke about the positive reaction she has been receiving on social media for her show.

Speaking about the show’s premises which addresses the fact that in Indian society, people still hesitate to openly talk about sex and fetishes, Priya reveals “I am so overwhelmed by the response from people on social media, of course, I think it is important for us to be able to talk about such stuff freely, but the show does a great job in engaging with the viewers and very smartly tackling a social stigma in the most entertaining way, it is anything but preachy”.

The trailer of Fuh Se Fantasy featuring Wahi and Priya Banerjee is a total riot.

It’s a first episode of Vikram Bhatt's Rain web series!

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, through his web series, has created a space for himself in the digital world. After Maaya and Twisted, the filmmaker launched a promo of the new web series Rain. Rain is a thriller series that rotates around the story of a girl, who is trapped by a group of four people from her past. It features Sid Makkar, Priya Banerjee, Kanupriya Gupta, Fazil Khan and Aarudra Subramanian in the lead roles.

Recently, the first episode has come out and well, we should say it's the director Anupam Saroj's cleverness which has made the first episode look that thrilling. The whole episode is full of mysteries. From the starting till the end, the episode will keep you hooked and well, it does have those moments that will make you turn white with fear.

As the title suggests, in the episode, you will see how Mumbai rains will become a motif. It starts with a girl named Barkha is bruised and puts a spotlight on what's in store for us. There is one man who wants to kill her and she is trapped inside her house with no outside help, all credits to the heavy rains pouring insanely. In the first episode, you will also get to know that Barkha is on some medications.

The entire episode will show that she hears some strange noises and she is scared of her past. Through this first episode, you would get to know that she was a criminal lawyer - death, rape and murder. The girl she is staying with also has some connections with her past. Then, Abhay who is also a lawyer comes into the scenes.

But, what's fascinating is the last scenes - well, there was someone who Barkha has chained in one of the room - leaving us thinking about the mystery.

It’s a narrow escape for Karanvir Bohra in a major car accident!

Be it Hindi Film Industry, television or theatre, travelling for shows or movies is an essential part of every actor's professional life. But is it always that safe?!

Well, TV star Karanvir Bohra just got lucky! Karanvir lately met with a massive accident while he was on his way to Bhuj for his next movie Hume Tum Se Pyar Kitna's song shoot. The accident took place at around 7 am nearby Bharuch. A speeding truck coming from the wrong direction hit the car, crushing the window panes. But by God's grace, everybody seated in the car escaped unhurt. Actor Priya Banerjee and Karanvir's sister Meenakshi were in the same car.

Karanvir has cancelled this schedule and they are coming back to Mumbai after receiving first aid. Karanvir said to a close source, “By God's grace we are safe. My car met with a very bad accident, is over the divider. I am safe with just a slight pain in the back, but I will be fine. Thank you God for saving us". In the meantime, Karanvir is also all set to step into the shoes of the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. He is all set with his forthcoming project, Ijjazat, a short film revolving around the love story of Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.

Seemingly, while Karanvir essays Rajiv, Priya Banerjee essays the role of Sonia. In a press statement, Karanvir told, “It’s tribute to Sonia and Rajiv Ji’s love story, but it’s is fiction. Neither does it have any political agenda nor is it an attempt to grab eyeballs. It is a simple story which is made to create a different content for the audience.”

He further told, “It is a tribute to love & peace worldwide. I am an actor and my job is to act but sometimes you come across an idea and you don’t want to wait for someone to back it. This is one such product, may be few year ago it would have been difficult to take such step. But now, thanks to the growing reach of the internet, it is easy to showcase one’s creativity so I took this step. I’ve always been fascinated with classic love stories of the 50’s and the 60’s. They don’t write such stories or make such movies anymore.”
