Priyanka Chopra’s warm thank you to Prime Minister for dignifying her wedding reception!

After wedding in Jodhpur, newly wedded Priyanka Chopra and Nick headed to the capital for their reception. At the Delhi reception, while Priyanka looked beautiful in a Falguni and Shane Peacock lehenga with beige and white threadwork, Nick looked dapper in a black tuxedo, but what caught our fancy was the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Recently, Narendra Modi took out time from his hectic schedule and graced the reception of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.

Today, the official Twitter account of the Prime Minister shared a photograph from the reception wherein we can see Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas all smiles while doing the customary Namaste to Mr. Modi. Narendra Modi’s caption read, “Congratulations @priyankachopra and @nickjonas. There shouldn’t be any doubt about his credibility as a Prime Minister, says Kangana on PM Narendra Modi!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kangana Ranaut

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has always been vocal about her opinions on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, Kangana even met PM Modi along with Prasoon Joshi.

Lately, at a fashion event, Kangana spoke about joining politics and admired the Prime Minister. As per a media news, Kangana revealed, "Whenever there is any danger on our country, we have our soldiers who are ready to sacrifice their lives even without batting an eyelid. If my country ever needs me, then I will be willing to lay my life for my country, leave alone joining politics."

At an event in Delhi, she called PM Modi a rightful leader. She was present for the screening of short movie Chalo Jeete Hain, which is apparently based on PM Modi's life.

About the movie, she revealed, "The film has been made beautifully. It shows how Prime Minister Modi being a sensitive child went through such extreme circumstances. But I feel this film is not about him. Rather it is about us - how the society needs to be together to rise. This film is just a small part of his life."

Admiring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kangana specified, "He is the most deserving candidate. It’s not like he has reached this place because of his mother and father. He is the rightful leader of the democracy. We have voted him as our Prime Minister. This cannot be taken away from him. This is his well-deserved place which he has earned after sheer hard work. So, there shouldn’t be any doubt about his credibility as a Prime Minister."

She further added, "Five years are very less to take the nation out of a pit. Our country is in a pit, we need to pull it out."

No PM’s biopic for Akshay kumar!

Biopics have become the new 'go-to' theme for filmmakers. With numerous biopics in the making, rumours of a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi started doing the rounds.

Numerous reports advocated that the role of PM Modi will be played by none other than Akshay Kumar.

A source close to the ruling Government specified to the tabloid, "The kind of reach and impact that Akshay Kumar’s presence will have in a story on Modi would be far-reaching and productive."

The gossips became strong after Central Board of Film Certification’s chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani in an interview had told, "I can’t think of anyone better to play our Prime Minster than Akshay. He has a spotless image of an idealist and visionary. And look at the kind of work he’s doing. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Padman are the cinema of social reform that Guru Dutt and V Shantaram were associated with. Also, Akshay has risen from humble working class beginnings to become a national star, just like Modiji. We are certainly looking at a strong possibility of Akshay playing Modiji."

But, a source disclosed to us that the news is not true. "Akshay isn't doing any movie related to Modi. It's a rumour. There is no truth to it," disclosed the source.
