Adnan Sami to meet PM with family!

Well known singer Adnan Sami and wife Roya with their daughter Medina meet PM Narendra Modi in the capital recently.

Celebs Adnan Sami and wife Roya Sami became proud parents to a baby girl, Medina Sami, on May 8, 2017. Adnan had shared this good news with fans on Twitter. "Roya & I have bin blessed wt an angelic baby girl. We've named her Medina Sami Khan. Prayed for a daughter. Over Joyed! #daddyslittlegirl," posted the gifted singer.

Lately, we got the photographs of the singer with his wife and darling daughter visiting Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Narendra Modi had a 40-minute-long conversation with Adnan Sami and Medina looked thrilled too.

Adnan Sami opens up about her newborn daughter’s German citizenship!

Well-known Singer Adnan Sami became a proud father of a baby girl on May 8 i.e last Monday. Adnan and his wife Roya named her Medina Sami Khan.

Roya gave birth to Medina in Munich (Germany) and hence she holds a German citizenship by birth. Adnan in an interview with a famous tabloid was questioned about the same, responding to which, Adnan told, "So what? That doesn't stop her from being a Hindustani. She will eventually come to India and we'll apply for her Indian citizenship. Mumbai is home to us. Medina was born in Munich because Roya's family lives in Germany and she had five sisters to help her while I was travelling for work."

When questioned the inspiration behind naming her Medina, the ace singer told, "I have named her after the city of Medina, which embraced Prophet Mohammed when he was forced to leave Mecca. Even today, the city is known for its love and hospitality. It's also here that you'll hear the most beautiful Azaan, immersing you in a wave of spirituality. So, I felt that Medina was an apt name for my baby."

Adnan was last seen in Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan where he sang a qawwali titled Bhar Do Jholi Meri.

The gifted singer took to his Twitter page to share the good news. He posted, "Roya & I hv bin blessed wtan angelic baby girl. We'v named her Medina Sami Khan. Prayed for a daughter. Over Joyed!#daddyslittlegirl"

Speaking about it, Adnan added, "Medina is the most incredible thing that’s happened to us. Both Roya and I always wanted a daughter and she is already my lucky charm. I have found a new inspiration for my music through her and she is going to be the centre of my world."

He further told, "Both mother and child are healthy and are doing fine."

On the professional front, Adnan was lately honoured with Asian Award from the British Parliament’s House of Lords for Outstanding Achievement in Music. And he considers his darling daughter as his lucky charm.

While accepting the award, Sami told, "I dedicate this award to my late father and receive it in the name of India."

He said a tabloid about his father, "He fought cancer but finally succumbed in 2009. During one of those years, while in London for a check-up, he insisted I also get a check-up done. After my check-up, the doctor pronounced before my father I won't survive for long given my weight."

Adnan also talked about his Indian citizenship. He told, "I have lived in India for 17 years. India is my 'karambhoomi'. I have lived in various countries but my heart was always in India due to the love showered on me by the people here."
