Arshad Warsi to reveal about the shooting of Munna Bhai 3!

Director Rajkumar Hirani’s successful Munna Bhai series holds a special place in Hindi film lovers’ hearts and after Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, now movie buffs are keenly waiting for the third instalment.

Actor Arshad Warsi, who essays Circuit in the film, lately disclosed that Rajkumar Hirani has already locked the script and that the film will go on floors in either mid-2019 or by the end of this year. The makers are currently fine tuning the script.

Veteran actor Sanjay Dutt will reprise his role as Munna Bhai in the third edition as well.

Will begin working on Munna Bhai 3 post Bhoomi, reveals Sanjay Dutt!

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt lately launched the trailer of his comeback movie Bhoomi in the city. The actor was all hearts during the media interaction patiently answering all the questions.

While interacting with the media, Dutt disclosed that he will start working on Munna Bhai's third installment post Bhoomi.

It is well known that Rajkumar Hirani's Munna Bhai MBBS which released in 2003 was a career-defining role for Dutt. In the film, Sanjay Dutt played the role of a local goon Murli Prasad Sharma, who insists on becoming a doctor after the dean of a medical college insults his father.

The film had a sequel which was titled Lage Rao Munna Bhai.

Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra who was present at the trailer launch event told the media that a script for Munna Bhai 3 is in the making.

As per to a famous news agency, Chopra told, "Sanjay Dutt was getting bored sitting at home. How much more we could've made him wait. Whenever he asked, 'Is it happening? We said, 'Yes sir it's happening.' So, we will start the film as soon as the script is ready."

The 58-year-old actor also revealed, "Raju and Abhijat have given me the best film of my life and that's Munna Bhai MBBS. After Bhoomi, I won't do anything else and just focus on Munna Bhai 3."

Director Rajkumar Hirani had the viewers in splits with the first two parts of Munna Bhai series Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Hirani did begin the third part of the series Munna Bhai Chale Amkica but it got postponed. 

Now Raju, who is presently directing a biopic on Sanjay Dutt's life, is all set to roll the third part of the Munna Bhai series, post he finishes the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. 

In a communication with a famous tabloid, Raju spoke about how hopeful he is set to start his 3rd Munna Bhai film bringing back the lovable gangster and his hilarious aide, Circuit. As per Hirani, since the release of both Munna Bhai films, he has five half-written Munna Bhai scripts lying with him. “I could've taken any of them and released another film, knowing people would watch it. But, I don't want to make a Munna Bhai which is not as good, if not better, than the previous two. I'm going to make just one more after which someone else can take the franchise forward and it has to be equally good,“ he said. 

Raju further added, "Now, while I am shooting this film, Abhijat (Joshi) is working on the script of Munna Bhai 3. Optimistically, by the time I'm done with the biopic, it'll be ready and I can jump into it in the New Year. It's a great idea and in the same territory as the other two, but still just a half-worked idea." 

On the third part, Hirani told, “It's too early to say where it is going, but I had a great time working with Sanjay and Arshad earlier and I wanted to continue with them. The topic is such that it will suit an older Sanjay and Arshad. Physically Munna and Circuit might change a bit but they will continue to be my divine fools."
