Priyanka Chopra celebrates Mother’s Day by mouthing a famous dialogue for mom Madhu!

An argument between the two brothers played by Vijay aka Amitabh Bachchan and Ravi aka Shashi Kapoor from Yash Chopra's Deewar is maybe one of the iconic dialogues. Well, now Priyanka Chopra has uttered the famous dialogues as a sweet gesture for her mother Madhu Chopra. She shared the video and posted, "Happy Mother's Day with @mubinarattonsey for @madhuchopra #FemisaArsiwala #MerePaasMaHai #filmy #nautanki #bffshenanagains." 

The actor shared an old picture of her mom on Twitter and posted, "I aspire to be even little like her @chopramm5 happy Mother’s Day to all moms and maybe and should be and I want to b n soon to be moms."

Madhu and Priyanka's bond is not limited to just a normal mother-daughter relationship. They have been each other's strength. In an previously interview, Madhu Chopra had told, "I think Priyanka is carrying her India, her culture and traditions with her, which is what is making her so special over there (in the West). She has not become a foreigner. The modern India is this — who have the values and talent, and who can pick on any industry in the world. If you see, everywhere Indians are doing so well… It’s just that Priyanka is more prominent, we know more about her. But everywhere we see Indians are doing remarkably beautiful."

“I am quite a parent for her. I am more of mum. With her dad... They were friends. She takes care of me… There was a time when I was her mother, and now she’s my mother,” Madhu further added.

Katrina Kaif shares her favorite childhood memory on the Mother’s Day!

Everybody knows that Katrina Kaif is very close to her mother and family. Lately, Katrina's mom Suzanne was in the city and Katrina was seen spending quality time with her and her sis Sonia Kaif. The trio were seen relishing a nice luncheon in Mumbai and catching up over lost times. 

Katrina, who lately joined Instagram, shared a heartwarming message for her mom on the occasion of Mother's day. Posting a childhood picture of herself, dancing with her mom, Katrina posted, "My most favourite memory of my childhood was always dancing with my mother . To the strongest woman I know ..... what would the world be without you ... #happymothersday."

On the film front, Katrina will next be seen in Jagga Jasoos opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film directed by Anurag Basu, is all set to release on July 14th. Katrina is also shooting for her Salman Khan movie Tiger Zinda Hai by Ali Abbas. She was also recently finalized for Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan, which also features Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Shaikh.

Deepika Padukone celebrated Mother’s day by recalling her childhood!

On the celebration of Mother’s Day, Deepika Padukone went down the memory lane and shared an expressive picture of hers as a toddler playing in the arms of her loving mother.

In her newest Instagram post, a child Deepika can be seen smiling and all excited to be in her mother’s arms.

She captioned the pic as, “Love You Ma..#MothersDayEveryday.”

Deepika, who has over 17 million followers on her official Instagram account, has got over 70, 000 likes on the throwback picture, as of now.

Navya and Agastya used to come with bruised knees, now with bruised hearts, reveals Shweta Bachchan Nanda on Mother’s day!

Famous Shweta Bachchan Nanda, the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, is most certainly low-key in contrast to her family. But on the occasion of Mother's Day, Shweta got frank about her two children Navya Naveli and Agastya with a famous tabloid. 

                                                                             

On whether she is the type of mother who is also a friend to them, Shweta responded, "No, I am not their friend. I am their mother! I have a communicative and realistic equation with my children. When they were little, they came to me with bruised knees. Today, they come to me with bruised hearts. They ask my opinion, but they don’t have to obey it. I’m not strict about the teenage rites of passage stuff. I am strict about behaviour, that is very important to me."

She further added, "I actually oscillate between traditional and modern. I like some of our Indian traditions. I like, for example, the respect we give our parents and elders here. It feels good, so I follow these traditions."

                                                             

When questioned if being a mother who has her own life meant distancing yourself from your kids and Shweta told, "I do not expect that I will know everything that is going on in my children’s lives, but I am always in on the important stuff. For me, that is enough. I do not want to live through them. I do not want them to live the life I plan for them. I want them to chart their own path; if they fail, there is no shame, and I will be there to pick them up."
