Malavika Mohanan’s bike riding passion!

Recently, Malavika posted a video of her riding with other racers at the Buddh International Circuit in Delhi NCR. Now, speaking to a daily, she opened up that her passion for bike riding began when she was as young as 15. However, her parents did not allow her to learn to ride bike until she was 18.

“I’ve always been fascinated with bikes, but it isn’t safe, and also not advisable to speed in the city. So, when I went to Delhi last June, I got an opportunity to ride a racing bike. I met some of my friends at the circuit, who were shooting for a movie there. So, as part of the shoot, they also had actual riders on location. Though I have had interest to ride bike since 15, my parents never let me and my brother learn until we turned 18. So, the same week that I celebrated my 18 th birthday, I enrolled myself in a driving school,” a daily quoted her as saying.

Malavika Mohanan was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer Darbar, helmed by critically acclaimed director Karthik Subbaraj.

Malavika Mohanan replaces Deepika in Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds!

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishaan Khatter is all set to make his film debut in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds. The film went on floors recently in the city.

There were numerous reports about Deepika Padukone being part of the movie. She even underwent a look test on the busy streets of Mumbai. But, unluckily, she didn't make it to the cast of the movie. Seemingly, Majid didn't find Deepika convincing for the role.

Previously Kangana Ranaut also rejected the role, stating her role was submissive and less meaty than her onscreen brother.

Now, Majid has finally found his leading lady. Gifted theater actor Malavika Mohanan is finalised to play Ishaan's sister in the movie. Malavika is the daughter of renowned cinematographer K. U. Mohanan.

Speaking about it, a source specified, "Mr. Majidi found his character in Malavika. He was looking for a face, that could fit the character and own it and for him, Malavika made the cut."

A spokesperson from the producers Zee Studios and Eyecandy confirmed the report telling, "Yes, Malavika is on board to play the leading lady in the film - Beyond The Clouds. Mr. Majidi did a look test with her and was very happy with the results. She has started the shoot in Mumbai."

Speaking about the plot, the movie deals with human relationships centered around a brother and a sister played by Ishaan and Malavika respectively.
