Admirers were inconsolable when Ankit Bathla aka Dhruv pronounced
that he was quitting the TV show Thapki Pyar Ki. As the show will
embark on a seven-year leap Ankit did not want to play the role of a father so
early in his career.
The show's team had been extensively searching for an
appropriate replacement. Their search has finally ended.
It is none other than Jatin Shah, as per to a famous
tabloid.
After staying away from television for five years the actor
is finally back. He told to the tabloid, "I couldn't be part of a daily
soap as I was busy taking care of my business."
He further added, "It's a
challenge to play an already established character. But I am convinced that I
will be able to pull it off."
