Imran Khan’s solo life!

Another filmy marriage is on the verge of collapse.

This time it’s Imran Khan and his wife Avantika Malik who are taking a break because of irreconcilable differences. In fact, Avantika has taken their 5-year-old daughter Imara and moved back into her parents’ home while they decide on the next step. Imran and Avantika were childhood sweethearts before they tied the knot, and her mother is optimistic that they’ll sort their differences out. Who knows, maybe distance will really make the heart fonder.

Imran Khan’s directorial debut fails to impress producers?

After the poor performance of Katti Batti (2015) at the box office, Imran Khan has been missing from the big screen. Though the actor is often spotted at Tinsel Town events, there has been no news about the 34-year-old signing an acting project.

But, the buzz has been that Imran will soon be trying his hand at direction and is writing a script with hairstylist-turned-writer Ayesha DeVitre. And now going by the reports in a famous tabloid, Imran has completed the script and is on a lookout for a producer.

Seemingly, Imran had also met Atul Kasbekar who had produced Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja last year but was turned down and hasn’t been able to find anyone backing the script as of yet.

Apparently, a producer he had lately met had also asked the actor to rework the script and sent it back after scribbling through many pages.

Imran who had made his filmy debut in Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na with Genelia D’Souza in 2008, was at the peak of his career after giving hit movies like Delhi Belly (2011), Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012) and has also shared the screen with the likes of Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Aamir asked for reading hand and spit on it during Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’s days, reveals Farah Khan!

Aamir and his prankster nature are known to all. Aamir during the reunion of Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar was a laughter bomb.

The Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar cast shared the stage after 24 hours at the 18th MAMI festival and well it was nothing less than a fiesta. Deepak Tijori, Ayesha Jhulka, Mamik Singh, Farah Khan, Pooja Bedi and Imran Khan among others were present at the get-together. And the cherry on the cake was the Dangal star who gave us numerous laughter moments.

Aamir Khan is a big prankster on the sets and was the same during the filming of Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar .

Remembering one such moment Farah revealed, “Aamir used to say everyone and he still doing this ...he is like let me read your hand ...and he would spit on their hand....”

Quick to retort Aamir light-heartedly responded, “Maine jis heroine ke haath par thukha hai wo number one ban gai ” (Whoever’s hand I have spat on has become a number 1 heroine).

Pooja who was a party to the chat in a jest told, “I'll tell my daughter that Aalia u have to go and meet Aamir uncle he needs to spit on your hand.”

And Aamir with his humour didn’t stop here. Speaking about what all has changed during this period of 24 years, he jokingly told, “24 years me bahut kuch change ho gaya hai...meri shadi toot gai...nai shadi ho gai ...or kya”.

Aamir Khan to revive Imran’s career!

If anyone could use a hit right now, it’s Imran Khan!

Fortunately for him, his uncle Aamir Khan is on it! Yup, there’s buzz that the man who launched Imran will also produce a comeback vehicle for his bhanja. In fact, Mamu jaan already has a team of writers coming up with ideas for projects to resurrect Imran’s career, and will focus all his attention on the movie once Dangal is done and dusted. Fingers crossed, Imran makes the most of the opportunity.
