Siddhanth Kapoor’s item number for sister Shraddha starrer Haseena!

Brother-sister Siddhanth Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be seen sharing screen space for the very first time in Apoorva Lakhia's gangster film Haseena, which is based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar and the movie went on floors a couple of days back.

We have overheard that Siddhanth, who will be seen playing the role of Dawood in the movie, lately shot for an item song, which is being termed as the only light moment in the dark and gritty movie. A source revealed that the dance sequence is an incident out of Dawood's early days when after a successful mission, Dawood and his men head to a dance bar, get drunk and break into a jig. It is being said that Apoorva thought of making Dawood dance in the club sequence only after he realized how well junior Kapoor dances.

Produced by Furquan Khan under Swiss Entertainment banner, the film stars siblings Shraddha and Siddhant Kapoor as the lead protagonists and is directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

Siblings Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor to share screen in ‘haseena’!

After Sonakshi Sinha walked out of Apoorva Lakhia's Haseena, citing date problems, we had learned that actress Shraddha Kapoor has been signed up to play the lead role in Haseena, which is based on the life of Haseena Parkar, the sister of dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim.

Not only this, we have also informed that Shraddha's brother Siddhanth Kapoor will play her reel brother Dawood Ibrahim. The movie, which will revolve around Haseena's life from her teenage years to her 50s, will seemingly go on floors in December this year. From what we have learned, the movie will touch upon four high points of her life as a crime boss - her dealings with the slum redevelopment authorities, negotiating overseas rights of Hindi films, the Hawala racket, and the territorial wars among cable operators in the city.

Haseena will be shot in Mumbai and the Middle East.
