Bollywood newbie actress Sara Ali Khan has emerged as a youth icon and has a large fan base after doing 2 films as Kedarnath and Simmba back to back.

As the award season kicked off lately, Sara’s act in Simmba was nominated. Last night, Sara stunned everyone in a gorgeous dress for the award night. Later, Sara also bagged an award for her act in Simmba. The Simmba star took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt note for Ranveer and Rohit Shetty for giving her an opportunity to play a feisty character in Simmba. Debutant Sara Ali Khan who is all set to rule the silver screen with her upcoming film Simmba. The actress who is often spotted outside her yoga and dance classes was shooting for Simmba in the Swiss Alps. Unnecessary to say, she was having the time of her life during the shoot. But as the shoot was on, Sara had to bid adieu to the scenic beauty.

While preparing to leave, Sara posted a photo on her Instagram against the milieu of majestic Alps. She captioned the picture as, "Adieu Alps??? #untilnexttime #besttimeever #nofilter #bluesky #sunkissed #memoriesforlife #simmba".

Ranveer Singh opens up about Masala films!

Vibrant star Ranveer Singh is one of the most versatile actors. He was last seen as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat. It was the first time he essayed a negative role and as Khilji, he was cruel and wild and left the viewers enthralled with his acting.

Ranveer's forthcoming movie and second release this year is Rohit Shetty's Simmba. This is the first time Ranveer Kapoor will be seen in a Rohit Shetty and a masala movie. In the movie, Ranveer Singh essayes the role of a cop and we have seen numerous pictures and videos shared by the makers which has got us excited for the movie. While speaking to a media sources, Ranveer shared his thoughts on doing an out and out commercial movie. Ranveer Singh revealed, "Simmba is a full-blown masala film. It’s an entertainer. I believe masala films are the holy grail of mainstream Hindi films. In terms of genre, it is the king of all genres."

In Simmba, Ranveer stars along with Sara Ali Khan. The movie is scheduled to release on December 28, 2018.

Well-known star Ranveer Singh is all set to don the avatar of an angry, young and tough cop for his next film titled Simmba. Simmba, which is being directed by Golmaal Returns fame Rohit Shetty, is the remake of the Telegu superhit movie Temper (2015). Simmba will be newcomer Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, who essays the main antagonist in this action film.

While Ranveer and Sonu's characters will be on opposite sides for Simmba, their off-screen friendship is very different! Ranveer took to his Instagram page to share a photograph, posing with Sonu as well as Rohit, who he refers to as his 'brother from another mother'. In the photograph, Ranveer is seen dressed as his character and along with a smiling Rohit, shows off Sonu's six-pack abs as the actor whole-heartedly laughs. Ranveer's caption reads as, "भाई from another आई !!! @sonu_sood @itsrohitshetty #Simmba @karanjohar @saraalikhan95."

Sonu and Rohit shared the same photograph as well on Instagram. While Sonu wrote, "भाई from another आई with my two brothers @itsrohitshetty & @ranveersingh! It's a working birthday for Ranveer as he shoots for Rohit Shetty's Simmba in Hyderabad. Rohit took to his Instagram page on the eve of Ranveer's birthday and shared a new still of Simmba with warm message.

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh will soon be seen in his cop avatar in the action film Simmba, being helmed by Rohit Shetty and co-produced by Karan Johar. Ranveer took to Instagram to share a caricature of his character and captioned it as, "AALA RE AALA #Simmba AALA !@itsrohitshetty @karanjohar."

The movie is one of the most awaited movies of this year. It also features Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. He will play the role of a powerful cop Sangram Bhalerao.

Film Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan went on floors on June 6, 2018, in Hyderabad at Ramoji Film City. The film is being directed by Rohit Shetty and co-produced by Shetty and Karan Johar amongst others.

Sara's first look from the film was uncovered recently wherein she was seen donning an embellished crop top paired with the skirt and minimal makeup on. Her hair is seen tied up in a low ponytail. The debutante was seen posing with designer Manish Malhotra on the first day and it is indeed a happy one.

Earlier, it was stated that Sara Ali Khan landed in legal trouble as her team gave the same dates for Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath and Rohit Shetty's Simmba.

Saif Ali Khan tried to solve the matter but nothing helped. The makers of Kedarnath then filed a lawsuit against Sara Ali Khan demanding Rs 5 crore.

In Kedarnath, Sara Ali Khan will be seen along with Sushant Singh Rajput and in Simmba, she will be romancing Ranveer Singh.

As stated in a daily, a source revealed, "When Kedarnath landed into trouble and was stalled after a fallout between Abhishek Kapoor (Gattu) and Prernaa Arora, the agency that manages the newbie actress gave bulk dates in June and July to Rohit and Karan Johar for Simmba. Now that Ronnie Screwvala has come on board and is backing Kedarnath, Gattu and he wanted the same dates from Sara to complete their movie. They decided to take a legal recourse soon."

The trial for this case was going to be held today. But, Abhishek and Rohit have now mutually settled the matter outside the court. A source revealed to a daily, "Rohit and Gattu had a talk. Ronnie, too, was present at the meeting. The three filmmakers met on Sunday to discuss the matter. Karan (Johar) couldn’t be there as he’s holidaying in the US. They have come to a mutual agreement.”

The source further reveals, “Sara will shoot simultaneously for Kedarnath and Simmba. While she films Simmba, the Kedarnath team will complete the portions that don’t include her and vice versa. The directors have worked it out."

Debutant actress Sara Ali Khan is in the news due to her debut film. The soon-to-be actor was supposed to be seen in Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath, this year, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. But, the movie has been a victim of disputes and uncertain postponements. 

As per reports, Sara was the chosen one amongst the numerous to star in Rohit Shetty's movie Simmba. 

Now, the news has been confirmed that Sara will indeed be starring opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba, which is being produced by Rohit's Rohit Shetty Picturez and Karan's Dharma Productions. 

Simmba is scheduled to release on December 28, 2018.

Ranveer Singh to shoot a cop video for Simmba!

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is presently relishing the success of his movie Padmaavat. Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.

Ranveer has some good movies to do and one of it being Rohit Shetty's Simmba. In the movie, the actor is essaying the role of a cop called Sangram Bhalerao. As stated by a daily, the actor will shoot a special video to introduce his character in which he will be surrounded by dholwallahs from Nasik.

A source revealed, "He will make a stylish entry to the hoot of ‘Aala re aala Simmba aala.’ The idea to introduce Ranveer in his new avatar stems from the fact that it’s been a while since he has been seen in an action-packed masala movie."

No Chulbul Pandey character for Simmba as per Rohit Shetty!

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is collaborating with director Rohit Shetty for the cop movie Simmba. The first look of the movie was released previously and Singh looks quite radiant as a cop.

After releasing of its first look, there were comparisons being made about Ranveer's character that it reminds them of Ajay Devgn's Singham or Salman Khan's Dabangg. About the same, he told a daily, "When we were making Singham, a lot of people asked 'if we were trying to make a Dabangg kind of a film', but the film has its own identity."

He further revealed, "If the look and part is serious then it’s Singham and if it’s entertaining then it’s Dabangg. But our cop is not a Chulbul Pandey kind of a character."

When Rohit was questioned if just like Singham, will he make a sequel to Simmba, he told, "Let’s see how the first one does and then we will think of the second."

Rohit Shetty's film will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Recently, the first look of Ranveer and Rohit Shetty's film Simmba is out and it will leave you waiting for next December already!

In the first poster which was posted by Ranveer on Twitter sees the ever loud and vibrant Singh showcasing his inner persona under the avatar of a 'notorious' police officer.

Karan Johar, who is producing the movie with Rohit too shared the poster.
