Darasal song lyrics:

Tum toh darasal khwaab ki baat ho
Chalti mere khayalon me tum sath sath ho
Milti hai jo achaanak woh saugaat ho

Tum toh darasal meethi si pyaas ho
Lagta hai ye hamesha ke tum aas paas ho
Thehra hai jo labon pe woh ehsaas ho..

Teri adaa, adaa pe marta main
Wafaa, wafaa si karta kyun
Hadon se hoon guzarta main
Zaraa zaraa zaraa…

Tum toh darasal saanson ka saaz ho
Dil mein mere chupa jo wohi raaz, raaz ho

Kal bhi mera tum hi ho, mera aaj ho
Kal bhi mera tum hi ho, mera aaj ho

Hmm…

Baarish ka paani ho tum
Kaagaz ki kashti hoon main
Tujh mein kahin main beh jaata hoon

Ho…milne hoon tumse aata
Waapas nahi ja paata
Thoda wahin main reh jaata hoon
Ho…

Tum toh darasal ishq ho, pyaar ho
Aati mere phasaano mein tum baar baar ho

Inkaar mein jo chhupa hai wo ikaraar ho

Inkaar mein jo chhupa hai wo ikaraar ho..

The story behind stay on Raabta by Magadheera’s makers!

The legal fight between the makers of Magadheera and Raabta has lastly come to an end as the latter have won the plagiarism case against them and now, the movie be releasing this Friday.

The producer of Magadheera, Allu Arvind wanted a stay on Raabta’s release but, he withdrew the case after watching the film.

A source disclosed, “The Raabta makers received a legal notice from the producer (Allu Arvind) of Magadheera citing plagiarism. They requested him to watch their rough-cut, but he didn’t want that… Obviously a bigger game, which unraveled later, was being played.”

With pressure levels reaching new heights, and the producer of Magadheera, Allu Arvind, denying to entertain any reasoning by the Raabta makers, there seemed no way out.

The source further revealed, “They were willing to show him (Allu Arvind) Raabta so he could compare it with Magadheera to ascertain it’s not a copy, but he wasn’t interested. Then they offered to put the compensation being asked for into escrow with the esteemed court and if the court decided it was a copy, he could take the amount demanded. He wasn’t even interested in entertaining this.”

“The only think I can think of is that he had sold the rights of Magadheera to be made in Hindi and is concerned that since Raabta is also about reincarnation and unrequited love, after its release, no one will want to do a similar genre soon. Maybe I’m wrong but since the aim was to stop the release rather that fight the case correctly, this is the only reason that makes sense,” ended the chat source.

Its fight between a rebirth romance and comical romance!

Two films with romance as the key element release this week – Raabta and Behen Hogi Teri. While former has drama in high dose, later follows a funny approach. Raabta is a much bigger movie, what with producer turned director Dinesh Vijan going all out to make it an ultra-classy urban romantic affair with larger than life reincarnation angle thrown in for good measure. On the other side Behen Hogi Teri is a movie made in controlled budget with a small town realistic appeal to it. Both the movies are aiming for youth though as their viewers base.

Raabta would see a much wider release due to its scale as well as starcast including of Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon. The promotion has been quite right and that has ensured good awareness around it. This should help the movie open around the 8 crore mark. On the other side Behen Hogi Teri should begin better at multiplexes, though its title has a universal appeal and finally the movie could penetrate in the smaller centers too if the word of mouth spreads fast.
Rajkummar Rao has done a lot of serious movies as a solo lead (Aligarh, Citylights, Shahid, Trapped) and though they have been critically loved, numbers have been missing. Behen Hogi Teri could be his brighter chance to find added visibility among masses.

By the way, both Sushant and Rajkummar have worked together in Kai Po Che and are now conflicting with each other on box office. This isn’t all as Rajkummar features in both the new releases of the week. While he is the main lead in Behen Hogi Teri, he is also an integral part of Raabta as he plays a 324 year old man! As for Sushant, he is following through after Superhit MS Dhoni – The Untold Story and it is time for him to sustain the momentum.

Bollywood stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon are finally all set to attract their admirers with their forthcoming movie, Raabta. Audiences have been wanting to see both Kriti and Sushant romance each other on the big screen, all credits to their off-screen chemistry.

It'll be a treat to watch these two with their crackling chemistry on screen in Raabta. Directed by Dinesh Vijan, the movie deals with the themes reincarnation, love, passion, heartbreak and death.

It'll be exciting to see how the story will unfold on June 9. In the meantime, the filmmakers have been treating us with teasers and dialogue promos. We got to see one more promo wherein you see Sushant aka Shiv is trying to pursue Kriti aka Saira for taking their relationship ahead but 'dheere dheere'.

One cannot refute the fact that the two look just perfect with each other. It's the first time they have paired opposite each other and their nok-jhoks in the trailer and promos have been creating a buzz and eagerness for the movie.

At the trailer launch, Kriti spoke about Sushant's character Shiv and told "Shiv the character is cheesy, likes himself a lot. This character is like him."

Speaking about her own character, Kriti told, “My character believes in that (reincarnation). When we meet someone we either get a good or bad vibe and that is maybe because there is some connection and I do believe in this.”

Link-up rumours make for boring gossip, says Sushant Singh Rajput!

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput tells gossip columns don't bother him, adding that link-up rumours make for boring gossip.

Questioned if gossip and rumours bother him, Sushant said, "No, those gossip columns do not bother me as they are fictional stories, especially my link-ups, or fighting with fans (articles). I know that in digital era, media houses need constant news feeds and they have to be sensational to trend on social media. People read them and forget. The only thing is, media should write interesting gossip about me, that is good read."

Sushant, who has been linked-up with his "Raabta" co-actor Kriti Sanon, further added, "Link ups with co-stars before release of a film is quite a boring gossip that even readers do not take seriously."

During the trailer launch of "Raabta" the actor lost his cool when a reporter asked him to comment on alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav, who was arrested in Balochistan over terrorism charges.

Speaking about the same, Sushant told, "I interacted with media from the day I started gaining popularity in television. There is not a single incident like that happen in past. If such situation will happen in future, I will stand by my opinion. Let me tell you something, I am intelligent enough to go by a popular opinion to maintain a diplomatic image, but I chose not to. It takes a lot not to take a side and being vulnerable before the media and say ‘I do not know enough to form an opinion on the topic'.

"Maybe next time, when I will be asked the same question, if I am well versed with the topic, I will voice my opinion and people will respect me for my thought," he added.

Directed by Dinesh Vijan, "Raabta", based on rebirth, is releasing on June 9.
