Arjun Rampal to get a personal trainer for Paltan!

Bollywood star Arjun Rampal’s upcoming Paltan is creating a lot of buzz. As per reports, Arjun Rampal is playing the role of a soldier in the film, Colonel L Rai Singh, and for the same, the actor’s personal trainer accompanied him during the shoot of Paltan.  

It is well-known fact that the life of a soldier is very difficult and physically demanding and to bring the rawness of a soldier to life, Arjun Rampal had to work out strictly. Since Arjun’s role demanded rigorous workouts, the actor decided to go the extra mile for this role. As a matter of fact, Arjun’s trainer accompanied him during the shoot of Paltan. As per a daily, all through the shoot of J P Dutta's Paltan, a personal trainer of actor Arjun Rampal trained him in the harsh freezing weather. Not only this, along with his personal trainer, real-life soldiers at the border area gave Arjun Rampal and other actors intense military training to get into the skin of a soldier's character.

Paltan tells the untold story of 1967 Indo-China war, where Nathu La military from India fight the Chinese military from acquiring Sikkim. Paltan consists an ensemble cast as Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhant Kapoor, Luv Sinha, Esha Gupta, Sonal Chauhan, Deepika Kakar and Monica Gill. Paltan is schedule to hit the screens on September 7.

Abhishek Bachchan opens up about for not doing JP Dutta's Paltan!

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was all set to star in JP Dutta's war movie Paltan. But, later on, it came as a shocker when the actor backed out of the movie.

Associated to it, JP's daughter Nidhi Dutta specified, "Abhishek Bachchan is no longer part of Paltan for personal reasons best known to him. It has come as a shock to us as this happened less than 24 hours before our unit left to shoot in Ladakh. But we also believe that; especially in the movies we make, it's the soldiers sitting up there that choose who will play them and recreate their lives on screen. Nevertheless, we wish him luck in his future endeavours. We are already in Ladakh filming with our entire cast and crew and Army personnel. We will announce the actor who is replacing Abhishek in the film soon."

There were numerous news making the rounds about Abhishek backing out of the project. Speaking about it, a source previously told to a daily, "Abhishek was quite kicked about Paltan. However, he realised after a while that Sonu Sood had more screen space than him. That bothered him considerably. When he discussed his apprehensions with Dutta, he told him that while Sonu had more screen time, it was Abhishek who had a better character written for him. Dutta could not convince him and he backed out at the end minute."

But, when lately Abhishek was questioned about the same, he gave the reason to a tabloid, "Sadly, things did not work out for me, and I couldn’t be a part of the film. But he’s the best, and I wish him best luck. I’m sure he will make a fantastic movie."

Abhishek was substituted by Harshvardhan Rane in Paltan.

Sonakshi's brother Luv Sinha to shoot in Ladakh for his debut film Paltan!

Debutant Luv Sinha, set to step into Bollywood with the forthcoming movie "Paltan", tells he loves being lost in work.

Luv, who is the son of veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha and brother of actress Sonakshi, on Monday took to Twitter to share a photograph of himself from the Shanti Stupa in Ladakh.

"'Paltan' Day 20: Woke up at 6.30 a.m. as usual... Only to find out I might have an off day... Shot the Shanti Stupa with my Mavic pro," Luv captioned the image.

Sonakshi responded telling: "Whattay shot! Looking good bhaiya. Luv Sinha."

Luv then shared: "Love you Sona. Miss everyone at home but love being lost in work."

National Award winning filmmaker J.P. Dutta, who directed the war-based movie "Border", is directing "Paltan". The movie will release in the first half of 2018.
