Abhishek Bachchan opens up about for not doing JP Dutta's Paltan!

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was all set to star in JP Dutta's war movie Paltan. But, later on, it came as a shocker when the actor backed out of the movie.

Associated to it, JP's daughter Nidhi Dutta specified, "Abhishek Bachchan is no longer part of Paltan for personal reasons best known to him. It has come as a shock to us as this happened less than 24 hours before our unit left to shoot in Ladakh. But we also believe that; especially in the movies we make, it's the soldiers sitting up there that choose who will play them and recreate their lives on screen. Nevertheless, we wish him luck in his future endeavours. We are already in Ladakh filming with our entire cast and crew and Army personnel. We will announce the actor who is replacing Abhishek in the film soon."

There were numerous news making the rounds about Abhishek backing out of the project. Speaking about it, a source previously told to a daily, "Abhishek was quite kicked about Paltan. However, he realised after a while that Sonu Sood had more screen space than him. That bothered him considerably. When he discussed his apprehensions with Dutta, he told him that while Sonu had more screen time, it was Abhishek who had a better character written for him. Dutta could not convince him and he backed out at the end minute."

But, when lately Abhishek was questioned about the same, he gave the reason to a tabloid, "Sadly, things did not work out for me, and I couldn’t be a part of the film. But he’s the best, and I wish him best luck. I’m sure he will make a fantastic movie."

Abhishek was substituted by Harshvardhan Rane in Paltan.

Harshvardhan Rane to replace Abhishek Bachchan in Paltan!

JP Dutta whose specialty is war-based flicks including the iconic Border is set to tell another war story through Paltan.

The film was firstly going to star Abhishek Bachchan along with Suniel Shetty, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Pulkit Samrat, Siddhanth Kapoor, Gurmeet Chaudhary, Jimmy Sheirgill, Jackie Shroff and Luv Sinha.

But, in a shocking turn of events, Abhishek backed out of the project.

Speaking about the same was Dutta's daughter Nidhi Dutta who expressed her shock over Abhishek's unexpected departure from the film. Nidhi had disclosed, "Abhishek Bachchan is no longer part of Paltan for personal reasons best known to him. Now, Harshvardhan Rane, who made his Bollywood debut with Sanam Teri Kasam (2016) will be replacing Abhishek in Paltan.

Authenticating the news is Nidhi who disclosed, "Yes, we have signed Harshvardhan Rane for Paltan but it’s too early to divulge anything about the movie or his role."

Produced by JP Films, Paltan is slated for a summer 2018 release.

Actress Nidhi Dutta’s debut on Social Media Network!

Filmmaker J.P Dutta's daughter Nidhi Dutta, who is all set to mark her Bollywood debut with her dad's production venture Jee Bhar Ke Jee Le, has marked her presence in numerous social media sites as well.

  

Nidhi has joined Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to interact with her fans. Talking about her social media debut, Dutta tells, "I have joined all the popular social media sites so that I can get directly in touch with my fans. It will help me understand their likes and dislikes better and I can also keep them updated about all my future projects and all that's happening in my life."

  

The actress also got a shout out from Abhishek Bachchan, who marked his acting debut with J.P Dutta's Refugee, and Arjun Kapoor. Both the actors took to Twitter to welcome her aboard.

  

A source close to the actress, reveals, ''Nidhi will promote her upcoming movie online and also connect with the audience to see their reaction, what they expect and what they want to see in a film today. Not every actor does that, Nidhi believes in having a direct connect with the people.''

  

Nidhi will be seen opposite Nafisa Ali's son Ajit Sodi in Jee Bhar Ke Jee Le.
