Abhishek Bachchan starrer Dasvi’s first screening in in jail!

Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan is all ready for the release of his forthcoming movie Dasvi starring Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in key roles. The team is on a promotional tour. Recently, the Guru star posted a video of Dasvi’s first screening that took place in Agra Central Jail. Jr Bachchan had promised the inmates while shooting the movie that he would keep the first screening of the movie for them and he indeed kept his promise.

In the video that Abhishek Bachchan posted, we can see him Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur along with the entire team walking inside the Agra Central Jail. The actor shared a glimpse of the entire prep that took place for the screening and how the inmates looked extremely happy with this gesture of Dasvi’s team. Sharing this video the Yuva actor wrote, “A promise is a promise!! Last night I managed to fulfil a commitment I made a year ago. The first screening of our film #Dasvi held for the guards and inmates of Agra Central Jail. We shot the film here. Their reactions are memories I will remember and cherish for a lifetime.”

Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film is backed by Jio Studios, Dinesh Vijan and Bake My Cake Films, streaming on Jio Cinema and Netflix from April 7, 2022.

 

Aditya Dhar’s peculiar reaction to wifey Yami Gautam’s Dasvi trailer!

Well-known Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam are making headlines due to their forthcoming film Dasvi. The makers had released the trailer of the film on Wednesday. Actually, the fans are in awe of Abhishek Bachchan’s Deshi swag and Yami Gautam’s no-nonsense character in the film. But, among all the admirations, Aditya Dhar’s quirky response to the Dasvi trailer has been winning hearts.

On his Instagram story, Aditya posted the trailer of Dasvi and took a witty jibe at Yami’s role as a strict police officer who was seen schooling Abhishek Bachchan in the film. He posted, “And I thought I was the only one getting schooled by you!!” along with a smiling face emoticon and a heart emoticon. The Nation Award winning filmmaker then also hailed the trailer of Dasvi and wrote, “Super fun!”.

As we all know that pretty actress Yami Gautam has presently several big-budget projects. She is gearing up for the release of Pavan Kirpalani’s multi starrer movie Bhoot Police that also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. The gorgeous star has also bagged Aditya Dhar’s next production with Pratik Gandhi. In addition this, Yami also has Dasvi in her kitty.

Recently, Yami took to her Instagram handle and posted a glimpse of her character from the first day on the sets. In her caption, she also stated that she feels proud and honoured to play an IPS officer. Sharing her pic, the Kaabil star posted, “My first day on the set of #Dasvi playing #JyotiDeswal. Proud & honoured to play an IPS officer. #JaiHind.”  The Vicky Donor star can be seen clad in IPS officer uniform as she is seen looking straight into the camera for the picture-perfect.

Directed by debutant director Tushar Jalota, Dasvi highlights the importance of education in today's society. The movie has been produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
