The well-known south megastar Dulquer Salmaan is brokenhearted due to the sad demise of Malayalam film production designer and art director Sunil Babu. South Art Director Sunil Babu passed away at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest, on 5^th January 2023, Thursday night. As per news, He was admitted to the hospital three days ago due to swelling in his leg.

Earlier, Sunil Babu worked as an art director and production designer in Malayalam, Telugu Tamil, and Hindi as well. He entered the film industry as an assistant to art director Sabu Cyril. Some of his best works are movies like Thupakki, Bheeshma Parvam, Maharshi, Oopiri, Ghajini, Premam, Chota Mumbai, and more. He also worked in Hindi for the biggest hits like Singh Is King, MS Dhoni, Paa, Lakshya, Special 26, and more. Besides this, Sunil has done the art direction for the English film Rose.

On the work front, south superstar Dulquer Salmaan is presently busy with his ambitious project King Of Kotha, which is hyped to be an complete action thriller. The movie, which is directed by newcomer Abhilash Joshiy.

Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan will be playing lead characters in R Balki’s thriller “Chup”. A teaser of Chup was divulged lately. Balki reveals, "Chup is a thriller and there are a lot of Guru Dutt references in the film. It's not based on Guru Dutt, but you will hear of him and his films. Basically, it's about the artist in him."

Balki clarifies that all the actors have been cast for a particular reason. "I like to cast people not so much unexpectedly, but based on who I feel is closest to my character," tells Balki, informing further that there is nothing unusual about the casting. "This is a commercial film, a commercial thriller, but in a world never done before. The thought is very relevant today and the narrative isn't different from what we usually see. After debut from film Karwaan, Dulquer Salmaan is sharing screen space first time with Sonam Kapoor in their next film The Zoya Factor. Now, he shifts focus to The Zoya Factor, which is based on Anuja Chauhan's novel by the same name. Sonam was lately on a break in the US and returned to begin her preparation for The Zoya Factor. Dulquer will be improving his cricket skills as he begins training this week, as per a daily.

Dulquer will be seen essaying the role of Indian cricket team skipper. As per reports in a daily that since the actor is a better bowler than a batsman in real-life, he will have to train hard to ace in both. The first schedule commences on August 28, 2018, which will include scenes with both Dulquer and Sonam. The cricket sequences will be shot after a few months and that gives the actor ample time to ace the sport. Dulquer will be trained by local coaches.

On the other side, Sonam is meeting sports reporters who cover cricket. The source further added, "She met bloggers in the US who write about the sport. Though she plays an advertising professional, she wanted to understand the dynamics of the game. Her next step will be to meet advertising professionals."

Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar starrer Karwaan is released recently.

South superstar Dulquer Salmaan is debuting in Bollywood from this movie.

The promo starts with Dulquer's character named Avinash getting a phone call that his father has passed away in an accident while travelling to a pilgrimage place. He is being told to collect his dad's dead body. But, Avinash is left perplexed as he finds out that only two dead bodies have arrived and none of it is his father's.

He is then informed to go to Kochi to collect his father's dead body. But, he has to carry the other bodies with him too. To travel till Kochi, he takes Irrfan Khan's help who is a driver.

The two go on an interesting adventure and while travelling to Kochi where they meet different people, one of them being Mithila Palkar's character. Things change for the three of them as their journey is full of fun, laughter, thrill and emotional moments.

Karwaan is helmed by Akarsh Khurana. The movie is scheduled to release on August 3, 2018.

Sonam Kapoor to romance with Dulquer Salmaan!

As per recent reports, South industry’s superstar Dulquer Salmaan will be paired opposite Sonam Kapoor in the screen adaptation of the 2008 novel The Zoya Factor written by Anuja Chauhan.

The Zoya Factor is a story about an advertising professional who turns out to be a lucky charm for the Indian cricket team. She eventually falls for the captain of the team and helps in motivating him for the World Cup. 

The film is being directed by Abhishek Sharma and will go on floors in August, this year. 

Speaking about the film, Sonam told to a daily, "It's always nice to play vibrant, empowered women. I'm excited that Pooja and Aarti are making this film with me and Abhishek, who is brilliant with actors."

Dulquer told to the daily, "I loved the idea and how the book was adapted for the screen. It's a super team and I've known a lot of them for a long time."

Both Sonam and Dulquer took to Twitter to share a small glimpse at The Zoya Factor.

Couple Dulquer Salmaan and Amal Sufiya are going to be parents soon!

It’s time for new babies in the movie industry. After Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput and Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Amal Sufiya are set to become parents.

Lately, we spotted the couple at an event and it was a happy sight to spot Dulquer Salmaan’s wife, Amal Sufiya, with a noticeable baby bump.

The couple was attending the marriage reception of Dulquer Salmaan’s cousin and looking at the pictures, we were only happy for them.

A famous tabloid quoted a source as telling, “Yes, Amal is carrying and is expected to deliver the baby by the end of May or June first week.”

Dulquer Salmaan and Amal Sufiya got wedded in December 2011 and on their fifth anniversary, the actor, who was shooting for Comrade in America in the US, shared a post on social media, “How you married a cartoon like me I’ll never know! But thanks baby! Happy Anniversary!! 5 years flew by like 5 blinks! I’m so sorry I’m not home this year. I promise to make it up to you when I get back.”
