Chunky Panday is not upset with Ananya's statement on Dharma film!

Bollywood newbie Ananya Panday had gained name and fame much before she appeared on the silver screen. Being launched by Dharma Productions, Ananya got stardom in no time. Lately, Ananya grabbed headlines after she talked about her father, Chunky Panday's struggle and nepotism in Bollywood. She told that even though her father was an actor he had never been a part of any Karan Johar's Dharma film or been on the chat show Koffee with Karan.

Ananya had told that she always wanted to be an actor. Just because her father has been an actor, she would never say no to an opportunity to act. Her dad has never been in a Dharma film, he never went on Koffee With Karan. So it’s not as easy as people say. Everybody has their own journey and their own struggle.

At a latest event, Chunky Panday was asked whether he is upset about this. The actor told that he likes coffee a lot. He will definitely go whenever Karan calls him. And no, he is not at all upset. He is very happy that Karan's taken his daughter in his movie.

On the film front, Chunky Panday will be seen in Saif Ali Khan starrer Jawaani Jaaneman which will hit the theaters on 31st January 2020.

Bollywood star Chunky Panday and Bhavana Panday’s daughter Ananya Panday made her debut with the movie Student of the Year 2 directed by Karan Johar. Ananya Panday has also been able to secure a huge fan following within a short span of time despite being just one film old.

Lately, Ananya has been clicked by the paparazzi yet again as she stepped out in the city for enjoying a movie night with her parents Chunky Panday and Bhavana Panday. Her BFF Shanaya Kapoor also joined them for the film. Ananya kept it simple as she wore a black t – shirt teamed up with a pair of matching ripped denims and golden sneakers.

As we all know, Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut with Punit Malhotra’s Student of the year 2 and although the movie wasn’t received well by the critics but Ananya was appreciated for her acting. Ananya is Chunky Panday’s daughter and as a father, Chunky spoke on how he used to see Ananya come home depressed when she was wanting to make her acting debut but when he saw her in SOTY 2, he was sure that Ananya would be a good employee.

“Ananya had been part of the industry socially but to work in it is a different ballgame altogether. That said, Bhavana has brought her up well and she’s equipped to be a good employee. I’d see her return home depressed sometimes but I let her be. When I saw the film’s trail show, I was sure she would make it,” revealed Chunky. Chunky Panday pursused his dreams and became an actor and even though he was the son of doctors, he turned out to be a wild child. When Chunky was questioned if Ananya is wild as him, he revealed, “I was wild, my daughter is nothing compared to me.”

Recently, the trailer of Student of the Year 2 starring Ananya Panday, Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria was out. The star cast disclosed the trailer at an event held in Mumbai. SOTY 2 marks Ananya Panday's debut in the movie industry.

Chunky Panday was quite emotional while speaking about the trailer and his daughter. Chunky told to an entertainment portal, "I am over the moon. I have never been on her set, seen her shooting and never seen any rushes of the film. All she had shown me were the stills from the movie. When I saw the trailer, heard her voice on-screen, I was too emotional. I just flash-backed to the start of my career. It was better than I expected. I am surprised the way she comes across on screen, maybe she is camera-friendly. I could not imagine her like this on-screen. It came to me as a pleasant surprise and a shock."

Ananya Panday snapped at Judwaa 2 screening; SOTY 2 on the cards?

Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2 has been in news for some time. While Karan had previously confirmed that Tiger Shroff has been locked in for the film, the leading lady is still not finalized. While there were quite a few candidates namely Disha Patani, Sara Ali Khan and Jhanvi Kapoor, the newest buzz was that Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday may have been selected for the substantial role.

There have been rumors that Ananya has been preparing for her Bollywood debut with dance classes and fitness regimes. Well, while there have been no further developments on this, Ananya was spotted recently at the screening of the movie Judwaa 2.

Actor Chunky Panday’s beautiful daughter Ananya Panday is rumored to be debuting in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2. The beautiful teenager was chosen for the Le Bal Des Debutantes this year, an annual international fashion event that brings together daughters of the rich and famous. Ananya is also close to Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan and is often spotted at film parties with mother Bhavana Panday. Lately, Bhavana had shared a photo of Ananya on her social media account, in which she looked awesomely stunning and close friend choreographer-director Farah Khan had made a funny comment. She posted, “Do a DNA test please. She’s too lovely to be Chunky’s child”. Fans had funny reactions to the comment and many even trolled her.

Lately, Chunky shared his reaction on Farah Khan’s remark. He told, “Farah is a darling friend and I know what she meant. She actually called Ananya beautiful. So I take that as a compliment. Also, Farah, Sajid [Khan] and I have a dark sense of humour, so we often crack such jokes about each other.”

He told in joke, “Farah used to openly crush on me when we were young. And I always joke that crush got crushed. In fact, both my parents were doctors but I was a duffer. So when I was young, I also got my DNA test done.”

Daughter Ananya is receiving a lot of attention from the media and the film fraternity. Chunky told, “It feels great that everyone is talking about her and that too good things.”
