Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday's Dream Girl 2 will be released in theatres on August 25. Nushrratt Bharuccha played the main actress in the opening episode.
Dream Girl 2 starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday will shortly be released in theatres. This film is their joint debut endeavor as actors. The lead couple's incredible chemistry was already on display for viewers in the movie's trailer and first song, both of which were released. Ananya is replacing Nushrratt Bharuccha in this spiritual sequel, despite the fact that Ayushmann also participated in the first film. Ayushmann admitted recently that he was concerned about Ananya's capacity to fit in with the Dream Girl 2 world.
Recently, Ayushmann talked about how he wasn't first certain that Ananya was the best candidate for Dream Girl 2 because of her urban upbringing. He was candid about his views and disclosed, “I was always thinking that she's an urban girl, and how will she get accustomed to the milieu of Mathura, a city from tier-2 India. But I think she adapted really well. We had a dialect coach Yash Chaturvedi, who helped us with the accent. Every 10 km, the accent changes in our country.”
She disproved him, according to Ayushmann, by mastering the dialect and giving a stellar performance in the film. He revealed, "But she was bang on with the accent which is great. If you're a Bombay girl, it's tough to catch those accents. Main toh phir bhi Hindi mei baat karta hu, Hindi mein sochta hu toh mere liye aasan ho jata hai (I speak and think in Hindi so it becomes easy for me). But she's done a great job in the film. And we've seen that in the past also, in Pati Patni Aur Woh. UP ki ek film kar chuki hai (She's already done a film based in Uttar Pradesh).”
The movie, which will be directed by Raaj Shaandilya and
produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor under the brand of Balaji Motion Pictures,
will open in theatres on August 25.
