About the Film Ok Jaanu: 
OK Jaanu is a 2017 Indian romantic drama film directed by Shaad Ali, story and screenplay by Mani Ratnam. Produced by Mani Ratnam and Karan Johar under their banners Madras Talkies and Dharma Productions respectively. It is an official remake of Mani Ratnam's Tamil film O Kadhal Kanmani starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen. The film stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, portraying a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai with Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samson play supporting roles as an older couple in the film, portraying the younger couple's landlords. A. R. Rahman composed the film's score and soundtrack while Gulzar is the dialogue writer of this film.

Synopsis: 
Adi and Tara move to Mumbai to pursue their dreams. A chance meeting sparks off a heady, no strings attached romance until their careers pull them apart. Will ambition prevail over matters of the heart?


Music:
The film score and soundtrack is composed by A. R. Rahman while lyrics have been penned by Gulzar. Rahman re-used most of his compositions from the Tamil soundtrack of O Kadhal Kanmani, with the exception of three songs. Rahman has composed two new songs for the film and these songs will be used in place of Aye Sinamika and Malargal Kaetten that were part of Tamil version.

Ok Jaanu’s duo Shraddha and Aditya romances in rain!

Alleged lovebirds Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor created waves with their chemistry in Aashiqui 2. The amazing duo is back together on the big screen with Shaad Ali's Ok Jaanu, which is the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster Ok Kanmani.

The first poster of Ok Jaanu was revealed yesterday and both Aditya and Shraddha were making all go aww. Today Karan Johar has shared another poster of the so-called lovebirds with a caption that reads, "Trailer out on Monday!!!! Here is another new look of #OkJaanu....Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha kapoor!!!!"

We came across another poster of the movie that bears striking similarity to Aashiqui 2 where both Aditya and Shraddha are romancing in the rain.

The movie is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is all set to release on January 13, 2017.
