Big B and Taapsee Pannu starrer Film Badla to release on this date!

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu gave spellbinding performances in film Pink in 2016. In 2018, both reunites once again for film Badla.

Sujoy is a famous filmmaker with flicks like Jhankaar Beats and Kahaani. This time, Ghosh tackles a murder mystery for his next titled Badla, with Big B and Taapsee as his lead characters. Badla is the Hindi remake of the Spanish movie Contratiempo (2016), also known as The Invisible Guest.

Earlier, team Badla was shooting for the movie in Glasgow and finished the first schedule before Amitabh Bachchan started shooting for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and Taapsee began promotions for her forthcoming movie, Anubhav Sinha's Mulk with Rishi Kapoor.

Recently, Taapsee took to Twitter to disclose the release date of Badla which will be March 8, 2019. Badla will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment.

Taapsee posted, "This will KICKSTART my 2019! #Badla."

Sujoy tweeted, "Showtime!"

Red Chillies Entertainment tweeted, "And we have a release date! #BADLA releases in cinemas near you on 8th March 2019. @SrBachchan @taapsee @sujoy_g @iamsrk @VenkyMysore @sunirkheterpal @_GauravVerma @redchilliesent @iAmAzure."

In a media chat with a daily, Taapsee disclosed particulars about her character sharing that she is essaying a sharp, powerful businesswoman based in Scotland. The actress also specified that her character in Badla is not the conventional Sujoy Ghosh heroine.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has begun shooting for Sujoy Ghosh's next Badla in Glasgow. The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. Taapsee took to Instagram to post a photo with Amitabh from the sets. She captioned the image as, "Andddddd..... we are back!!!!!!  Even my own camera prefers to focus on him! #Rockstar #Badla #SujoyGhosh."

This is Taapsee’s second movie with Big B. The two were also seen in Pink and their acts were loved by both the critics and audiences.

Big B and SRK unite for Badla!

Hindi Film Industry’s renowned Jodi Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have worked together in various movies like Mohabbatein, Veer-Zaara, Paheli, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Bhootnath and some others.

As per a famous tabloid, SRK and Big B will reunite for Sujoy Ghosh's crime-thriller Badla that also stars Taapsee Pannu. But, SRK won't be acting in the movie. He is one of the producers of this Ghosh's next.

The director verified the news and disclosed to a tabloid, "When you get an actor like Amitabh Bachchan, half your battle is won as he’s every director’s delight and I’m extremely excited to direct him. Also, I have been trying to work with Taapsee for a while. This is the perfect story to collaborate with her on. My excitement is doubled now that the film is being produced by SRK. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and now it is time for work."

Sujoy Ghosh's crime thriller is an adaptation of the Spanish movie The Invisible Guest (2014).

He revealed that both SRK and Amitabh like the idea of the film. Sujoy discloses, "I thought it was superlative material for AB Sir and pitched it to him. Taapsee was already on board, SRK also loved the source material and the collaboration happened seamlessly."

When asked if SRK will make an appearance in the movie, Sujoy Ghosh replied, "SRK is the producer but like hell I am going to stop him from making an appearance."
