Sara and Varun’s cool and coolie saga!

Earlier in August 2019, Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan started the shooting for Coolie No 1 remake and shared the first poster and look from the movie. Since then, often Sara and Varun are seen hanging out on the sets and their photographs from the same end up going viral.

Recently, once again, Sara took to Instagram to share a photograph with Varun from the sets that has increased our interest to see both of them together on the big screen. In the photograph, Varun can be seen dressed a coolie in the iconic red uniform. On the other side, Sara can be seen looking elegant in a white suit with dupatta.

Varun Dhawan can be seen sporting a gamcha on his forehead and coolie badge with ‘No 1’ written on it. Sara captioned the photograph with a couple of emoticons and wrote, “Cool and Coolie.”

Varun’s rival for the Coolie No 1 remake!

David Dhawan has found his beta Varun’s dushman for the Coolie No 1 remake after Vikas Verma joined the big budget romantic dramedy as the villain of the piece.

The actor who first worked with the Dhawans when he did a cameo in Judwaa 2 is over the moon at what he considers to be his big break, and has been hitting the gym with a vengeance since David wants his baddie to be big and beefy. It seems the remake has a pretty different storyline to the original, so let’s hope Vikas really gets the chance to shine!

No stress for Sara Ali Khan to reprise Karisma Kapoor’s role in Coolie No 1!

Presently, Sara Ali Khan is just two movies old in the industry, but she has managed to win hearts by her acting talents, of not just admirers but filmmakers and signed movies with renowned filmmakers.

Post Aaj Kal, Sara dived straight onto the sets of David Dhawan’s Coolie No.1 opposite Varun Dhawan, and after finishing the first schedule of the movie, presently, Sara and Varun are practicing for their song for the movie which is a remake of Karisma Kapoor and Govinda’s hit track- Main Toh Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha. During a media chat, when Sara was questioned about stepping into Karisma’s shoes, she told that although she is thrilled about reprising the role of Karisma Kapoor in the remake version of Coolie No 1 but she is well aware of the pressure. “It is going to be difficult because the film, the songs and everything related to that film is iconic. So it is going to be very difficult. But if we take pressure, then we will definitely mess up. What makes Govinda ji and Karisma ji so iconic was an element of spontaneity and ‘bindasspan’ with every take, every shot. They had so much fun while shooting and that translates on screen. These are big shoes to fill,” revealed Sara Ali Khan.

Speaking about the song, Sara told that she is going to shoot a song for this movie, and Sara confesses that although she is not a superb dancer, but if she thinks about the nervousness and not the excitement and privilege then she will definitely disappoint everybody. “I am not taking too much stress about this at the moment,” told Sara.

Sara Ali Khan to romance with Varun Dhawan in Coolie No 1 remake!

Earlier, it was reported that David Dhawan is all set to remake his 90's hit film Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan as the leading hero who will step in the place of Govinda. But, the leading lady’s name was still to be finalised. 

As per reports, the leading lady opposite Varun Dhawan who will be stepping into the shoes of Karisma Kapoor is Sara Ali Khan. Now, Sara Ali Khan is all set to play the role opposite Varun in the remake of this hilarious 90's film. As per a report in a daily, the writer of the movie, Farhad Samji confirmed the same and stated that he was really excited to work with Sara for a second time after Simmba. He even is humbled to work with David Dhawan and is looking forward to penning down dialogues for Varun and Sara.
