Earlier, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have worked in numerous
movies together including Namastey London, Singh is Kinng and Tees Maar Khan.
Now, nine years later, the two have signed on a movie together and its Rohit
Shetty’s highly awaited film Sooryavanshi. The two pronounced the same this
morning.
After pronouncement, conjectures were widespread that
Katrina essays Akshay’s love interest in the movie. But, as per a report in a
daily, Rohit Shetty’s team confirmed that Katrina will be a part of the movie
and will be seen essaying the role of the ATS cop’s wife. The report also specified
that Katrina will be an important pillar of support for her husband Akshay
Kumar aka Sooryavanshi who will be seen as a daring cop in Rohit Shetty’s action
film. The movie is based on real-life stories of the ATS.
Sooryavanshi is scheduled to release on Eid 2020 and will
most likely be clashing with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt’s Inshallah.
