The PadMan’s lead actors have been widely promoting the movie
for more than a month and people can't wait to catch up with the film on the
big screen. The movie stars Akshay Kumar in the titular role along
with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.
In the movie, Sonam will be seen essaying the role of a
tabla player and a social activist. Lately, Sonam posted a still from PadMan,
where she is seen playing the tabla on stage.
Sonam shared the photo on her Instagram page with the
caption stating, "Every film gives me an opportunity to learn something
new #Padman @padmanthefilm @akshaykumar @radhikaofficial"
Sonam trained to play tabla under the guidance of
28-year-old tabla player and percussionist Mukta Madan Raste. Mukte previously
confirmed the news to a tabloid by telling, "Sonam has been learning how
to play the tabla from me."
