Nepotism means favouritism towards relatives and Aditya Chopra is not my relative, tells Aadar Jain!

Actor Ranbir Kapoor introduced us all to his cousin Aadar Jain, who will be seen making his debut with another debutante Anya Singh in an YRF film, Qaidi Band. The film will be directed by Habib Faisal, who also launched Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in his film Ishqzaade.

Ranbir had previously suggested that Aadar will have to face the Nepotism conversation - "Yes, the platform that he has will spark a debate about insiders vs outsiders, nepotism and all of that. But I am going to keep that aside for now. Eventually, we will talk about it, he will have to face it.”

Now, Aadar kept his version when questioned by a famous tabloid about the whole debate. “Nepotism means favouritism towards relatives and Aditya Chopra is not my relative. I worked hard for the movie, I got it because I am talented and I proved my mettle as an actor. I do come from a film family and there is nothing wrong in being part of a film family. I am not a product of nepotism, otherwise, I would have been launched by RK studios but that’s not the case. I am proud of it and everyone in my family is proud of it,” told Aadar.

Jain further added, "It’s nice that my brothers and sisters are doing good work and it motivates me to do good work too. Everyone in my family has proved themselves. My grandfather Raj Kapoor was the son of Prithviraj Kapoor and contributed to Indian cinema for 60 years. My uncle Rishi Kapoorhas been in cinema for such a long time. Your hard work and talent will take you further and you will be judged by people no matter what."

“People will change their opinion about me getting favoured if they know that I am good and that I have worked hard," Aadar told and ended conversation.

The film industry has some of the most amazing people who never look at you differently, tells Kajol!

Actress Kajol has magnificently accomplished 25 years in the industry with some noteworthy performances over the years. She made her comeback in the Tamil movie industry lately with VIP 2 (Velaiilla Pattadhari 2). VIP 2 which is directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth also stars Dhanush, Amala Paul, Vivek, SaranyaPonvannan and Samuthirakani.

With such an illustrious career to boast about, Kajol disclosed to a famous tabloid that unlike most of the actors, she is not very ambitious and that her ambitions are in a different direction.

The actress told, "I did a film because I was bored. Then, I found out I was good at it and went on to do another one because I liked it. It didn’t feel like work to me, and I enjoyed the process. I liked the people I was working with. The film industry has some of the most amazing people, who never look at you differently. It’s like family; at least I have felt that since I began. Everyone kind of adopted me and took care of me and made sure I was okay. And I felt that for each of my films."

"My mother (actor Tanuja) has always told me there is never up or down (hierarchy), so I’d have food with everybody [on sets]. I felt everyone has loved me and treated me in the same way," she further added.

Also, talking fondly about her children Nysa Devgn and Yug Devgn, Kajol specified, "I definitely believe I am bringing up my children well. They are a huge part of my daily life and to take care of them in any which way, physically, mentally or spiritually, is my responsibility. So they come first and everything comes after that."

From playing a sperm donor in his debut movie to churning out some of the famous songs as a singer and song-writer to choosing unusual subjects in movies, Ayushmann Khurrana is one multi-talented man who believes that being an artiste, he has a more interesting life than that of a superstar.

Ayushmann's newest release is "Bareilly Ki Barfi", and his next is "Shubh Mangal Saavdhan". His previous release "Meri Pyaari Bindu" did not do well at the box office, but the actor tells he is not under much pressure because his mind is always occupied in some creative process.

"It's not that the failure of a film does not affect me, but I am not just an actor but an artiste and I think, the life of an artiste is much sexy and interesting than of superstar. I am writing, I am composing songs, doing musical concerts, I am acting in films... My mind is always in some creative process. So I do not let the failure affect me much," Ayushmann revealed in an interview here.

As an actor, he caught attention with his debut film "Vicky Donor" and received praise from critics and audience alike. He also impressed with his performance in "Dum Laga Ke Haisha", but the five films-old actor's movies have not managed to shake up the box office.

Nevertheless, his interesting and unique choice of scripts has always been spoken about. His next film "Shubh Mangal Saavdhan" delves on erectile dysfunction.

Ayushmann said: "Well, that's what I get more often... That's why I have chosen that film. But the fact is choosing the script is always a risk-taking step. At times a film looks interesting on paper, but it doesn't get translated on the screen because filmmaking is a collaborating effort.

"I always wanted to work on unusual subjects in my films, even as a newcomer. In the beginning, I refused to some formula films and 'Vicky Donor' came to me because everyone refused to do the film. That film worked. Hopefully, my new films will also work.” added Ayushmann.

In "Bareilly Ki Barfi", he plays a small town bully. He has worked in it with Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao. 

Secret Superstar has many secret superstars, tells Aamir Khan!

Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan, whose production house is coming up with "Secret Superstar", tells the movie has a lot of "secret" superstars.

"Secret Superstar" is a story of a girl who dreams big to be a singer, but is held by the pressure of her family, therefore, secretly reaches her audience on social media. The role of the aspiring singer Insu has been played by Zaira Wasim, who previously was seen alongside Aamir in "Dangal".

The movie has been directed by debut director Advait Chandan.

"I would like to say Kiran and I feel we are so fortunate that such talented people have come to us with material that we have loved and it's great for us to be able to make films, introduce films, give opportunity to creative talent like Advait," Aamir told in a statement.

"'Secret Superstar' as the title in the film refers to Zaira and of course, Zaira is a huge star but it's no longer a secret. She was a secret superstar until 'Dangal' had released. But I must tell you that 'Secret Superstar' has got many secret superstars in it. Slowly one by one we will be revealing each one of the superstars as we go along this journey and Advait is certainly one of them. When you see the film you'll realise what a beautiful story he has written and how well he had made the film," he further added.

More comfortable in non-glamorous roles, reveals Nargis Fakhri!

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, who featured in glamorous roles in movies like "Main Tera Hero", "Azhar" and "Housefull 3", reveals she is more comfortable doing non-glamorous parts.

The actress walked for designer Anushree Reddy on the fourth day of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2017, sporting a fuller frame.

A question on whether she is comfortable doing de-glam roles, Nargis told, "Yeah sure, why not. It takes less time to get ready (laughed). I am actually much more comfortable in an non-glamorous roles."

She also told that coming from New York, she always believed in easy styling and hates when people make a faux paus.

"Coming from New York City, we wear what we feel like wearing and we use fashion as a way to express ourselves and create our own identity. Something I dislike is when certain people deem certain things unfashionable or a faux pas.

"Fashion is an art and everyone has different kind of taste. I prefer to wear gym clothes all day every day because it's comfortable and casual," she told.

International diva Priyanka Chopra reveals sleep is evading her, and she can't decode the reason behind it.

She is confused whether it is the result of jet lag or "memories on overdrive". 

"So when sleep evades me and thoughts engulf my mind. I wonder is it jet lag or just memories on overdrive #latenightmusings," Priyanka posted. 

The actress, who has been juggling work between the US and India, is back in Mumbai. But, there is no knowledge about what professional commitment brought her to her home country. 

On August 16, she had posted, "Off and away.. Mumbai meri jaan...Home sweet home." 

Priyanka then posted: "Is it ok to just be home finally and just watch TV and procrastinate while I jetlag for a day before I dive into work?"
