Sayonee song’s creator Salman Ahmad does a cameo in 'Rhythm'!

The offbeat song Sayonee struck a chord with music lovers universally and the heartthrob hit maker Salman Ahmad is back to tinsel town after a long decade break.

Back with a bang, not only has the talented musician composed the attractive soundtrack for the forthcoming romantic musical Rhythm, he will be seen in a special appearance playing himself!

Salman Ahmad, the epitome of the sufi-rock music will bring back his magic with the brilliantly composed songs in this movie.

Director Vivek Kumar on the other hand has all praises for the singer. He tells, "My film is a musical love story set in an International University. I wanted real music in the film. His song ‘Sayonee’ had never got erased from my mind, I was no different from any guy who just loved his super hit track. When I got in touch with Salman, he loved the idea and immediately agreed to not only work on the music but also play a cameo. I got the melody I wanted, the rawness that we never get to hear in music today. These songs will succeed in refreshing the memories of the generation that missed the spectacular Sufi Rock music.”

The movie presented by R. N. Kumar, that stars another Canadian actor - performer Adeel Chaudhary and Rinil Routh, is all set to release on 19th February.

Versatile Danseuse Rinil Routh forays into Bollywood with 'Rhythm'!

The multi-talented Rinil Routh is ready to kick-start her Bollywood journey with writer-director Vivek Kumar's forthcoming film Rhythm. Rinil is trained in numerous dance forms and as the film required the female lead to be a great dancer, the makers felt she was suitable for the role. She has trained in Hip Hop, Contemporary and Street Jazz Dance from the Broadway Dance Center and Kathak from Pandit Birju Maharaj.

Talking about his film’s leading lady, Vivek Kumar told, “I chose Rinil for the role purely because she had all the qualities I was looking for in the character of Avantika. Rinil is a true Indian at heart but being based in New York she had the right attitude required for the role. Apart from being a fantastic actor, she is a trained dancer.This helped me to extract very good work from her as the role of Avantika is a very difficult one. Since my film is based in an International University, I wanted to choose actors, who were actually from different parts of the world to give more authenticity to all of the characters in the film and as luck would have it, everything just fell into place."

With her astonishing skills, this debutante is ready to take Bollywood by storm.

The romantic musical, presented by R. N. Kumar and produced by Vivek Kumar, also stars Pakistani actor-singer Adeel Chaudhry, will be releasing on 19th February, 2016.
