Salman to introduce Pranutan and Zaheer starrer Notebook’s new love ballad Laila!

Earlier, the makers of Notebook launched the trailer of the movie and after receiving praise for the trailer, the makers have dropped two songs from the movie. After the first song- Nai Lagda’, recently, the makers dropped the second song online titled Laila. Written by Abhendra Upadhyay and Vishal Mishra, Laila is a romantic song and Dhvani Bhanushali has sung this romantic number.

Notebook is the debut movie of Nutan’s granddaughter and daughter of Mohnish Bahl, Pranutan Bahl, and Zaheer Iqbal and the film is about a couple who falls in love in the picturesque valley of Kashmir without ever meeting each other, just like old school ways of expressing love. And the producer of the movie, Salman Khan shared the song as he wrote, “Firdaus ka Kabir ke liye pyar ka Elaan . #Laila, 2nd song from #Notebook out now.”

Salman Khan might be eventful with the promotions of his forthcoming movie Race 3 but that doesn't stop the megastar from launching new talents. Salman is well known for launching newbies if left awe-struck with their work.

Yesterday, Salman posted a throwback picture from his young age holding a kid in his hand and left us guessing as to who will he be launching. Guess what? The predicting name finally comes to as a surprise. Salman is launching a newbie, Zaheer Iqbal, who is a close family friend. Salman first spotted Zaheer at his sister's marriage function and that's when he decided to launch him.

Salman’s banner SKF (Salman Khan Films) is producing the movie along with Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios. The untitled movie will go on floors in September this year and is being helmed by Nitin Kakkar of Filmistaan fame. The movie is a love story set in Kashmir. The leading lady opposite him will also be a new face and will be finalised in the next few days.
