Varun Dhawan-Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made in India trailer!

Bollywood stars Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan’s next film, Sui Dhaaga: Made in India’s trailer was unveiled recently. Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan play the role of a couple who become self-employed and start their own business. Anushka Sharma plays the role of Mamta who is an embroiderer, whereas Varun Dhawan will play the role of a tailor in the film.

In the trailer, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma take up entrepreneurship and the film takes us through their trials, tribulations and eventual success.

Sui Dhaaga: Made in India’s producer Maneesh Sharma’s admiration for Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma!

Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are uniting onscreen for the first time in Sui Dhaaga: Made in India, which is inspired by the Make in India initiative. In the film, Varun will be seen as a tailor while Anushka will be seen as embroider with the duo essaying a small-town couple.

While speaking to a daily, producer Maneesh Sharma revealed, "Varun and Anushka are exceptional performers and they have outdone themselves in Sui Dhaaga. They had believed in the core message of the film since the day we narrated it to them and they have told us that they are eagerly looking forward to sharing their conviction with the audiences. It is a dream project for Yash Raj Films and we intend to passionately promote a film that we are incredibly confident about." 

The trailer of the film will be out, somewhere near Independence Day i.e. August 15, 2018.

Varun Dhawan successfully sews a shirt for Sui Dhaaga!

Bollywood star Varun Dhawan has lately finished the shooting of Shoojit Sircar's October. After a little gap, he is back to work again!

Varun has started preparation for his next movie Sui Dhaaga. The movie also stars Anushka Sharma in the lead role. In the movie, he will essay the role of a tailor. Recently, he shared a photo of how he was learning to use the sewing machine.

Now, YRF on their Instagram posted a video clip in which Varun is really stitching a cloth. He seems to be working hard to get into the skin of his character.

Lately, Varun conducted a Twitter session with his admirers and one of them questioned him - "@Varun_dvn when will the shoot for Sui dhaga start? #varunsays"

To which Varun answered, "In feb #varunsays"

Varun believes that his chemistry with Anushka will be crackling and the movie will work with the masses.

Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is scheduled to release on September 28, 2018, during Gandhi Jayanti weekend, next year.

Varun to essay a labourer in Sui Dhaaga?

Varun Dhawan has a lot of films in his kitty. Currently, he is gearing up for the release of Judwaa 2 and has started prepping for Shoojit Sircar's October. Moreover, the actor will be paired oppositeAnushka Sharma for the first time in Sharat Katariya's Sui Dhaaga.

The film is releasing in the second half of next year and people are curious to know what will be the film all about. Now, Varun's character has been revealed and he will be seen playing the role of a labourer in the film.

Talking about it, a source stated to a leading daily, "Varun plays a labourer, a hired help in the film. His look in the film will be in-sync with his character. The film hopes to raise awareness about indigenous cottage industries here in India and also talks about the dignity of labour."

Talking about the director Sharat, a source added, "Sharat is so passionate about the subject, his narration impressed Varun enough to say yes to the project."

Speaking about the project, Varun had earlier said, “From Gandhiji to Modiji, our leaders have always endorsed the mantra of Made in India. With Sui Dhaaga, I am proud to take their message to millions of movie lovers in a way that is entertaining and relevant. I really liked the script that Sharat had written and I am happy that I am teaming up with YRF on this one. Anushka and I are pairing up for the first time so I am sure there will be fireworks.”

Sharat Katariya wowed us all with his first film Dum Laga Ke Haisha, and now he hopes to do it again with a new flick called Sui Dhaaga - Made in India.

The Yash Raj Films presentation will star Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan, and its title has to do with the fact that the film’s story is connected to the rural cottage industry. Sharat promises that Sui Dhaaga will resonate with all Indians, regardless of whether they live in small towns or big cities. Watch out for it when it comes out on October 2, 2018.
