Ridhi Dogra gets an offer to play a reel couple with real sibling Akshay Dogra!

While Television demands experimenting with new pairs on-screen, actors too are keen on working with various actors. Having told that, actors Ridhi Dogra and Akshay Dogra, the real life siblings too had expressed their desire of working together. It seems they forgot to accurately mention that they would apparently not want to be cast opposite each other in a romantic track.

While speaking to a tabloid, Ridhi explained on the bizarre situation when she was offered a romantic role opposite her own brother for Waaris."They told me that there's possibility of a romantic track developing between my character and Akshay's. So, I rejected the offer right away."Akshay added further, "Ridhi and I are keen to work together, but not as a couple. It's not that the makers were not aware that we are siblings. Yet, they didn't find anything odd about offering us their show. I wonder what made them approach us in the first place."

The TV show now stars Aarti Singh in the lead while Akshay is the antagonist.
