Presently, Deepika Padukone is one of the best actresses in
Bollywood.
Deepika then went on to shine at MET Gala 2018 as well as
Cannes 2018. The actress was also included in TIME's 100 Most Influential list.
Now, Deepika will forever be immortalised as a wax statue at
the prestigious Madame Tussauds London and Madame Tussauds Delhi.
Deepika pronounced the news during an FB Live and shared
that it was an amazing feeling to have her own wax statue and that she hopes
that her fans love it as much as she enjoyed the process of creating the wax
figure.
The official Twitter page of Madame Tussauds London tweeted,
"We're super excited to announce that the INCREDIBLE @deepikapadukone will
be joining the family at #MadameTussaudsLondon next year!
#DeepikaPadukone."
Fascinatingly, Deepika will be the first Indian celeb from
Bollywood to make it to an exclusive A-List area at Madame Tussauds London. Generally,
wax statues of Bollywood stars have a separate A-List enclosure that's in the
dedicated Bollywood section.
Now, Deepika is all set to be the first Bollywood figure to
cross-over to the main A-List, where her statue will be placed next to the
likes of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
