Ridley Scott in is final negotiations to direct a drama
called All the Money in the World, which will tell the true story of the
kidnapping of John Paul Getty III.
For those of you who might not know the story, the 16-year-old
John’s oil tycoon grandfather refused to pay the ransom for the longest time
despite desperate pleas from John’s mother. If all goes to plan then All the
Money in the World will begin filming in May, and Ridley will cast Natalie
Portman as John’s mother Abigail. I’ll keep you in the loop on this one.
