Recently, Kartik Aaryan attended filmmaker Karan Johar’s birthday party in a new stylish avatar.

Also joining in on the celebrations are actors Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday, and Kartik Aaryan. Tara and Ananya. The two were spotted laughing about something and we are all wondering why! In the meantime, Kartik seemed to be rather sleepy but yet he did make sure to pose while he attended Karan Johar's birthday party!

Bollywood celebs attend Karan Johar's birthday bash!

Karan Johar, who last directed Ae Dil Hai Mushkil - which featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma - mentioned that this birthday was all the more special to him as he is joined by his lovely twins Yash and Roohi. The much adored filmmaker became a father lately when his twins were born via surrogacy. Since then, the new papa has been gushing over the little ones. He has also built a lovely nursery at his home for the little ones, specially designed by Gauri Khan.

The birthday boy took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and his protégé Alia Bhatt and posted, "At 45 doing my first Facebook live with a 24 year old! @aliaabhatt .."

Numerous B-town stars took to their social media handles to wish Karan a happy birthday. SSR wrote, "Here's wishing the most 'suitable' Rockstar of Bollywood a very very happy birthday!! Love you lots."

Malaika posted, "Happy bday u insanely crazy @karanjohar love n happiness always." Riteish Deshmukh shared, "Dearest @karanjohar ... happy happy birthday my friend.... happiness, amazing parenthood & more... love ya."

Karan Johar’s birthday celebration with Bollywood’s celebs!

Brilliant filmmaker Karan Johar turns a year older today and has big plans to celebrate his special day. KJo will be hosting a star-studded party tonight which will be attended by all his industry friends.

As per a famous tabloid, the guest list for the night consist of - the three Khans - Shah Rukh, Aamir, Salman, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar with wife Twinkle Khanna, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Manish Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Roy Kapur, Punit Malhotra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora Ladak and Malaika Arora, Katrina Kaif among others.

Remarkably, this birthday is very special for Karan as he welcomed his twins - Yash and Roohi this year via surrogacy. KJo returned from London yesterday and is personally making calls to invite people. As per the daily, a dance floor, DJ and bar has been set up at Karan's apartment. Since the party begins late in the evening, his kiddos Yash and Roohi won't be a part of it.

In the meantime, Karan and his 'student' Alia Bhatt would be conducting a FB live today where the actor-director duo will answer some quirky questions!

On the film front, while Karan Johar has taken a break from direction, his production house has a host of movies releasing this year. Flicks like Dragon, Drive, Ittefaq are lined up for a release. Karan has also pronounced his collaboration with Salman Khan as they will be jointly producing a movie starring Akshay Kumar in the lead.
