Sonali Bendre’s emotional note for hubby Goldie Behl on their anniversary!

As we know that Sonali Bendre completed 17 years of her wedding with Goldie Behl on 12 November, she penned an emotionl message for her hubby who has been her pillar of strength during the hard times.

It’s been over a year since Sonali Bendre was detected with metastatic cancer and flew to New York for the treatment. It was the most tough battle of her life. But her hubby Goldie Behl stood like a rock with the actress during the tough times. In fact, it was he who motivated the actress for the treatment in NY. And his support and unconditional love came with the positive results as Sonali has won her battle against the big C and is celebrating her life in India.

Now, her post was special as it was to mark her 17th wedding anniversary with Goldie. Sonali shared a lovely selfie of herself with her man. In the caption, she recalled how cancer diagnosis changed her life. And she is busy trying new things in life now, Sonali and Goldie decided to celebrate their special day with a road trip.

Later, the actress also spoke about how her diagnosis has changed her hubby as well. Calling Goldie her pillar of strength, Sonali wrote, “He has put everything on standby and has been focusing so much on me... and now I'm turning the focus back on him.”

Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with cancer in July last year and since then she has been motivating us all as she fiercely fought against the deadly disease. She has been vocal about the whole process and have shared her whole journey on social media. She is continually seen hanging out with her friends and family and is not letting the deadly disease bog her down. Lately she was seen having lunch with her family and close friends Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan.

Sonali shared a picture on her Instagram account where she is posing with her hubby Goldie Behl, son Ranveer Behl along with Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan and their sons Hrehaan Roshan, Hridhaan Roshan. She captioned the photograph telling how she attended a marriage, was hospitalized for treatment and then enjoyed the Sunday lunch with her friends in mere 7 days. She further added, 'you have to let go to experience the many shades of life'. Sonali have a constant support in the form of her friends and family and she is frequently seen spending quality time with them.

Sonali Bendre to return Mumbai after treatment for cancer in New York!

Actress Sonali Bendre returned to Mumbai after undergoing treatment for cancer for five months in New York City with hubby Goldie Behl. Sonali Bendre was detected with a high grade cancer that had metastised. She had shared on social media in July that a niggling pain led to the unexpected cancer diagnosis. She has been in New York City for the last five months undergoing treatment. She has been sharing uplifting posts on social media about her fight against cancer. In New York City, Sonali was visited by her buddies Sussanne Khan, Gayatri Oberoi, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar. She also met Priyanka Chopra and even attended her bridal shower with Neetu Kapoor.

Sonali was welcomed warmly as she returned home to Mumbai. She greeted paparazzi as she exited the airport with Goldie Behl. Sonali had previously shared on her social media account that she is finally coming back to where her heart is. She shared that the fight with cancer is not over yet but she is looking forward to a happy interval. She also shared that now there will be a new normal for her and she is looking forward to embracing it.

A politician posted a condolence message for Sonali Bendre on his social media account sending social media into tizzy. Sonali Bendre became a subject of death hoax. Sonali’s hubby Goldie Behl took to his Twitter account to clarify it. He urged, “I appeal to all to please use social media more responsibly. Let us not believe in rumours and spread them, unnecessarily hurting the sentiments of those involved. Thank you.”

Recently, we came across a dreadful news of Sonali Bendre Behl being diagnosed with cancer.

The actor released an official statement about the same which reads as,

"Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with a high grade cancer that has metastised, which we frankly did not see coming. A niggling pain led to some tests, which led to this unexpected diagnosis. My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can ask for. I am very blessed and thankful for each of them.

There is no better way to tackle this, than to take swift and immediate action. And so, as advised by my doctors, I am currently undergoing a course of treatment in New York. We remain optimistic and I am determined to fight every step of the way. What has helped has been the immense outpouring of love and support I’ve received over the past few days, for which I am very grateful.

I’m taking this battle head on, knowing I have the strength of my family and friends behind me."
