George Clooney opens up about changes in today’s industry!

Hollywood star George Clooney, who made his acting debut on television in 1978 and is a recipient of three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, tells he is proud of the changes he is seeing in Hollywood.

The actor was honoured with the American Film Institute's AFI Life Achievement Award on June 8, reports a famous entertainment portal.

During his acceptance speech he reveled, "I love being a part of this industry. I'm very proud of the changes I'm seeing in this industry. They're much overdue."

He also thanked his parents, who were present, calling them "two of the most ethical people I know. Their example was always due north".

Idris Elba would be a perfect James Bond, reveals George Clooney!

Hollywood filmmaker George Clooney tells actor Idris Elba, who was previously being eyed as the new James Bond, would have been a perfect choice to play the famous British spy.

Actor Daniel Craig will return as James Bond in the forthcoming 25th movie in the popular franchise.

"I think Idris Elba should be the next James Bond," Clooney revealed to a portal.

"I think it's insane that you wouldn't. He's elegant and handsome and masculine. He would be a perfect James Bond and it would be a great step forward," he further added.

Lately, Clooney welcomed twins Alexander and Ella three months ago with wife and human rights lawyer Amal.

Questioned whether parenthood has changed him, Clooney revealed, "Well, it's a funny thing. Ingeneral when you talk to somebody who is in the film industry, we can impart some unique experiences. Me talking about being a parent, everyone I know goes through it. And they are all the exact same experiences."

He further added, "It's (being) up all night at weird hours. It's changing diapers. It's being shocked at what you see inside a diaper for the amount they take in and the amount they put out; you go, ‘How is that possible?'"

George Clooney opens up about becoming US President!

Hollywood’s actor-filmmaker George Clooney joked about becoming US President by telling it "sounds like fun".

"Would I like to be the next president? Oh, that sounds like fun," he said during the Venice Film Festival press conference for his dark comedy "Suburbicon", reports a portal.

At which point actor Matt Damon, who stars in the movie, interjected: "Can I just say that I'd like anybody to be the next President of the United States? Right away, please!"

Clooney, whose father ran for the Congress in 2004, has been asked that question earlier too. And in the past his answer has been a more clear-cut "no".

"Who would ever want to live like that?" Clooney told in 2015, putting a freeze on the notion that he'd go into politics.

"I'm friends with a lot of those guys and I just think its hell!", added Clooney.

George Clooney and wife Amal welcome their twins Ella and Alexander!

The long wait comes to a cheerful end for the Clooneys as George and Amal welcomed their adorable twins - son Alexander and daughter Ella this morning. George's representative released an official statement, which had a hint of humour as well. It read, “This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days."

It was known that the Clooneys were expecting twins. A US-based entertainment portal had disclosed the gender of the Clooney twins when George's mom Nina Clooney had let the cat out of the bag. "It will be one of each! Yes, a boy and a girl. That’s what I’ve been told," Nina had said. 

She had also said that George and Amal were deciding on baby names. She had told, "I haven’t been told their names. That is George and Amal’s department."  

Human-rights lawyer Amal and Clooney tied the knot in a star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy, in September 2014, a year after they started dating. On October 2016, soon after their second anniversary, George had commented about their wedding telling, "And they said it wouldn’t last. Ah, we proved them wrong! We mostly drank... I made dinner and we had a very nice, a very romantic second anniversary.”
