Deepika Padukone began expanding her horizons beyond acting
when she launched a foundation to highlight the issue of mental health.
Since then she’s invested in a beauty products marketplace,
an online furniture rental biz, a yogurt maker and a space tech company. Now DP
has also invested $3 million into a desi cab service that only uses electric
vehicles. The investment was a no brainer for Deepika, who believes we all need
to do our bit to help the environment. I couldn’t agree more!
