Loved working with the Khans, says Manisha Koirala!


Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala has in the past worked with Bollywood's three megastar Khans in movies like "Dil Se..", "Khamoshi: The Musical" and "Mann". She tells she enjoyed working with them.

Manisha featured in "Khamoshi - The Musical" with Salman, in "Mann" with Aamir and in "Dil Se.." with Shah Rukh.

"All the three Khans are great actors. All three are superstars... I loved and enjoyed working with them. They are good people," Manisha said reporters here.

The 46-year-old actress is all set for her comeback movie "Dear Maya", releasing on Friday. She will be seen in a de-glam look for the role of a middle-aged lady looking for love.


Questioned about the de-glam look sported by actresses who are making their comeback, Manisha told, "You (people) will decide what is a trend. I didn't do this because of a trend. I did this because the script was brilliant."

Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala, who is making her comeback with the upcoming movie "Dear Maya", tells life has come a full circle for her as she has been through numerous journeys.

Manisha, known for 1990s movies like "Bombay" and "Khamoshi: The Musical", has come up with a video titled "Manisha Koirala Unblushed", which was released on Culture Machine's digital channel Blush on Monday.

In the video, Manisha represents the modern Indian woman, who is a product of her choice, her surrounding and her experiences. She delivers a message that it's necessary to recognize and embrace all your deficiencies as they go into making you the phenomenal person you are.

"Life has come a full circle for me at this point where I've been through multiple journeys. These journeys put together encapsulate the person I am today," Manisha told in a statement.

"Similarly, the characters essayed in the video from my films like ‘Bombay' and ‘Dear Maya' including others have added meaning to my life and taught me to embrace all things coming my way," she further added.


"Dear Maya" will release on Friday.
