Varun Dhawan’s niece Anjini Dhawan and Salman Khan unite for film Sikandar!

Anjini Dhawan, the niece of Varun Dhawan, debuted in Bollywood with Pankaj Kapur in Binny and Family. Even though the dramedy might not have done well at the box office, it looks like the rookie has landed her second project and it's a big one! Anjini has been cast in a major part in Salman Khan's Sikandar, according to a recent report.

A tabloid claims that Anjini has been given a significant role that calls for a new face, and she is the ideal candidate for it. Dhawan is anticipated to begin filming shortly. The crew plans to keep Anjini's involvement a secret because she is the catalyst for the plot, therefore it is still unclear what her relationship will be with Salman's protagonist.

Salman Khan and director AR Murugadoss have collaborated on a project before, Sikandar. They are collaborating to produce an action entertainer that also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Rashmika Mandanna. In June 2024, filming on the movie started in Mumbai.

In case you missed it, AR Murugadoss and his group are presently filming songs and dialogue scenes at an opulent set worth Rs 15 crore in Mumbai.

The Sikandar crew is scheduled to film at a palace in Hyderabad for another month after their filming in the busy metropolis. The goal is to wrap up filming by December 2024 and release this exciting action-packed entertainment on Eid 2025.

Pritam is the composer of the Sikandar soundtrack, which includes a variety of dance tunes, love ballads, and a poignant composition. Salman Khan is scheduled to start his next project with Atlee in January or February 2025, following the completion of Sikandar.

Varun Dhawan's niece Anjini Dhawan is preparing to enter Bollywood alongside Binny and family, carrying on her family's tradition. Her debut coming-of-age film trailer was recently released. After attending the launch as a loving uncle, the Citadel: Honey Bunny actor congratulated the debutant.

Today, August 30, Varun Dhawan posted the trailer for his niece Anjini Dhawan's debut film, Binny and Family. Taking to Instagram, the delighted uncle sent his warm wishes, writing, "@anjinidhawan this is so good welcome to the movies" followed by a hug emoji.

In addition, acclaimed filmmaker Subhash Ghai shared a candid photo during the trailer event. In the photograph, he is seen standing with VD and Anjini while speaking on the microphone. "Once upon a time we all were introduced as new comers . Like me in past….Varun dhawan last decade. And Now ANJALI DHAWAN in a beautiful family film BINNY N FAMILY what I said on its trailer launch today at pvr," he posted.

He continued by stating, "After watching the film I can say that anjali dhawan has done wonderful performance in a lovely grand daughter vs grand father story of the film produced by MAHAVEER JAIN presented by Balaji films to be released on 20 th September in cinema halls My heartiest congratulations n blessings to the whole team of BINNY N FAMILY."

It is worth noting that the trailer for the next film, Binny and Family, exposed audiences to the film's setting. The 2-minute, 39-second movie features Binny, a little girl who prefers to live life on her own terms. When her grandparents move in with her parents, everything changes. The apparent antagonism caused by the generational gap makes for a promising and engaging watch.
