Abhimanyu Dassani talks about working with Shilpa Shetty in Nikamma!

Bollywood Newbie Abhimanyu Dassani, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Nikamma'. He revealed about his experience of working on the movie with his co-actor Shilpa Shetty, at the trailer launch of the movie.

The actor told that Shilpa, who makes her comeback after 14 years with the movie, lifts up the mood of the place the moment she walks in. He revealed in a media, "Even after all these years, she has a childlike curiosity towards her work which is something I really appreciate and wish to cultivate for myself."

Furthermore, He revealed, "We both jammed on fitness. I had to gain ten kilos for the film," to which Shilpa interjected by joking, "kitna khata hai ye (how much does he eat!)."

In the end, Abhimanyu revealed that he has learnt to enjoy every meal, "During the filming we had a blast as we went around the city of Lucknow and gorged on local delicacies from Sunday to Friday."

The man who has given us hits like OMG: Oh My God! and 102 Not Out began production of an Abhimanyu Dassani and Mrunal Thakur starrer called Gupp Chupp last year, and even completed a 20-day schedule in Switzerland last month. Gupp Chupp will be a light-hearted comedy that also stars Paresh Rawal and Seema Pahwa in key roles, and is scheduled to release in the second half of 2020. In an industry where there are no secrets, kudos to Umesh for taking us all by surprise!

Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani is making his debut in Phantom Films’ quirky action-comedy Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota. The movie will be helmed by Vasan Bala of Peddlers fame, and it’ll also mark the big screen launch of the TV actress Radhika Madan. Both actors have already begun training for Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota’s action sequences, and Anurag Kashyap hopes the movie spawns a successful franchise for Phantom. Let’s see how well it does!
