Kareena Kapoor Khan is the topic of the town right now as the actress prepares to make her OTT debut with Jaane Jaan, which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in lead roles. In a recent interview with a daily, the actress talked about receiving criticism for her interfaith engagement with Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan. Bebo also spoke out against the mistreatment she had experienced as a result of her spouse and their ten-year age gap.
Kareena Kapoor astonished everyone when she wed actor Saif
Ali Khan in a low-key ceremony in Mumbai in 2012. At that point, rumors about
Kareena and Saif's 10-year age gap started to spread.
At a recent event, the Veere Di Wedding actress responded to the question, she revealed, “When has age ever mattered, he is hotter than ever. I am happy I am 10 years younger; he should be worried. No one would say he has turned 53. Age does not matter, what matters is respect and love and the fact that we have fun with each other.”
Interfaith marriages shouldn't even be a topic of discourse, according to Kareena Kapoor, because people today spend so much time and energy debating them.
She further told, “We spend so much time discussing interfaith (relationships). So much energy, so much that they are 10 years apart. The important thing is to have fun. The most important thing between Saif and I is that
we like each other and enjoy our company. How should it matter what faith he follows or what his age is that isn’t even a point of discussion.”
