Well-known international diva Deepika Padukone walked on the red carpet with elegance and style at the Cannes 2022 opening ceremony on 17th May. The Padmaavat wore a fabulous retro sequin saree in black and gold as she walked with rest of the jury members. On the red carpet, she spoke about making the cut and being invited as a jury member.
In a video on Twitter, the Om Shanti Om
actress said, "It's such a huge honour. It's not something that our
country has seen very often. So when we are given the opportunity, we should
take it with a lot of humility & gratitude."
