Earlier, Deepika Padukone's 2017 had begun with her big
Hollywood debut, xXx: Return of Xander Cage opposite Vin Diesel. Helmed by D.J.
Caruso, xXx 3 also starred Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Samuel L. Jackson, Donnie
Yen and Tony Jaa in pivotal roles.
In the film, Deepika essayed the lead Serena Unger who had
some kickass action sequences. Talks of xXx 4 immediately arose after xXx 3
released and D.J. was enquired if Deepika would star in the sequel as well.
"Oh yes. Yes, meetings next week. Honing in on story and start dates,"
Caruso had posted.
Lately, D.J. took to Twitter to divulge some details on how
xXx 4 should end and it had a Bollywood twist to it with Deepika in tow.
D.J. posted, "I want to end xxx4 with and Bollywood
dance song. Led of course by @deepikapadukone. Lungi Dance?? Something
new?"
